It's National Dole Whip day! Did you know that until it became available in the stores (and trust me, it is NOT the same thing), that Dole Whip was only available in Disney Parks! However, Dole Soft Serve is available elsewhere.

So where can you try Dole Whip if you're not going to Disney properties any time soon? Well, you could definitely make it yourself like we have with the recipe straight from the Disney Parks website OR just as good.. Dole Soft Serve is available a select Sheetz locally and even another amusement park, Knoebels, even has flights of varying flavors!

Psst... The BEST whip on property is hands down the pineapple float from Pineapple Lanai at The Polynesian Resort. 😍🤤

Guys! It's so quiet in my house! 😍 Last Friday was the end of school for my kiddos and they've decided to spend their first 2 weeks of the summer break at their dad's house.

Their summer vacation plans are camping lake side with their father and Disneyland in August with me of course! General plans for them is lounging around. Lol. If you have kids (or grandkids, nieces, nephews), when did their school let out? What are their summer plans?

You may have noticed for the last few weeks I've been absent from social media but with very good reason... Change. I've been doing a lot of debating and arguing with myself but I've decided to rebrand. Why? Well, change is good.

When I made the decision to become a travel agent 2.5 years ago, I was primarily focusing on Disney and Universal, which is where Ever After Adventures was born from. Since then, I've expanded into several cruise lines, expeditions - land & sea, and general travel plans. While I love Ever After Adventures, for me, it still gives that flair of fairytale magic. And while any vacation can have fairytale magic, I'm rebranding to encompass more of everything.

It's important for my current and future clients to know that I can help you plan ANY Adventure and not just Disney magic. So what does that mean? It means changes ahead this week... new logo, new website, new forms, new everything.. but same me!

5 hours into our road trip. Busing from PA to Orlando so my youngest can perform in both orchestra & chorus for Cedar Crest High School. Honestly still bouncing back and forth between Greedo and Bo Katana so we'll see. Onto outfits next and that might help the decision.

My top 3 money saving tips are as follows:

1) Reusable Water Bottles. There are refillable stations around the parks. You can also get a cup of water at almost every quick service dining location to fill up your bottle.

2) Pack food and snacks! That's right, you CAN bring food and drinks into the parks. And yes, of course you want to get a Cheshire Cat Tail (trust me, you do) but when you're just a little hungry or trying to keep to a budget, I recommend packing sandwiches in an insulated backpack. That's what we did on our first family trip and it saved us a bunch!

3) Lastly, and I swear by this (and tell ALL my Disney clients).. buy Disney Gift Cards! GC's spend like cash in the parks. Whether you're buying food and souvenirs (or even tickets and paying for your lodging!), this is the best way to budget your trip. You can even use them to pay for Disney Cruises and cruise amenities. Even if you're just considering a Disney trip in the future, it's never too early to start saving with gift cards! And I'd be happy to ballpark a number for you so you know about what you'd need to save.

There's something I've been wanting to do since I started this travel agent journey 2 year ago and which I think will benefit my local clients the most. What is it? An actual functioning home office.

I know what you're thinking.. "But wait? Don't you have a craft room?" Yep, I do. And yes, my travel things have been in here but what I didn't have was an actual set up where you could sit across from me, we could look at all the options together, and have an actual client consultation beyond my online form. Which yes, will still be available but you'll have the option now of in person as well. Well, you'll have that option as of the first of February... Still rearranging some of my decor. But it's coming!! Eek! Office photo coming soon.

Btw, can you believe it's been 2 years as a travel agent! And adding new suppliers regularly! I started this thinking I'd focus on Disney and Universal and passing my knowledge on. Who knew, 2 years later, I'd be booking WAY more cruises! 🚢

Got my Epcot snacks shirt on, bundled under my Mickey blanket, wearing my new Chip & Dale slipper socks, and playing some Disney Dreamlight Valley before I get to cracking on some more quotes. Only thing missing... Actually being at Disney. Instead I guess I'll just stay bundled and warm on our first snowstorm of the season.
