The beautiful drive back to Edinburgh took us through Stirling where we went on the Deanston Distillery Tour, learning how they make Whiskey! I even got to try some with 44% and 55% alcohol!!
We then explored Stirling Castle which dates back to the 1400s!
We finally made our way back to Edinburgh to our final stay at Marriott Edinburgh Hotel Holyrood where we were only a block away from the Royal Mile. We had a lovely farewell meal and then I packed up for my long journey home to Boise. 3:30am wake up call and about a 20 hour travel day, but I’m back home in my bed!! This whirlwind tour taught me so much about the country of Scotland and I will definitely be returning! Please let me know if I can assist in planning your dream European getaway!

Did someone say Highland cows? Yes, today we experienced interacting with Highland cows, feeding alpacas, and bottle feeding a baby goat at a farm!

Then we set off for St Andrews, the birthplace of golf! We toured the city (with our kilted guide) and saw the incredible history.

Onto a night at Fonab Castle Hotel with gorgeous accommodations! Thank you Sceptre Vacations putting this taste of Scotland together for us!

Started the morning off with some shopping at TKMaxx, then began our official tour with ! Our Scottish friend in a kilt took us on a walking tour of Edinburgh sharing some amazing sights. So many nooks and crannies to look at all over this city!

An amazing and exhausting day traveling and enjoying Edinburgh, Scotland. Experienced being walked to my hotel room by a man in a kilt, tried some haggis in a pub with live music, learned how the original citizens lived underground, and enjoyed the history of the town in the incredible architecture!
