Today was our last full day on property! We headed to Epcot in the morning. We got to see the Glimmering Greenhouses on Living with the Land, experience Figment’s adorable winter sweater, eat delicious food, explore Moana, and ride Guardians of course!

We then rode the Skyliner over to Hollywood Studios to watch the Frozen show and Indiana Jones. We spent the evening up at Crockett’s Tavern with yummy food and drinks! This was a great end to our trip!!

For today we took a break and hung out around the resort and Disney Springs. We stopped by Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Hanger Bar for some delicious holiday snacks and drinks before later having a late lunch at Art Smith’s. My dad has decided Art Smith’s was the best meal he’s ever had on property. That’s saying something!!

After some gem mining, a bike ride, and relaxing, Todd and I took the boat over to Wilderness Lodge. Here we got some macaroni balls at Geyser Point and watched Happily Ever After!

Another 2-parter!

This morning we went to Magic Kingdom. We rode Tiana’s right away and loved it as always! We also made sure to hit up Big Thunder Mountain since it is about to be closed for over a year!!

We spent the afternoon exploring more area of our resort, playing checkers, and decorating our cabin a bit with our Darth Vader blowup and lights! Everyone around here goes all out for decorations!! We’ve gone on golf cart rides in the evening to explore all of the lights!

After a quick rest, we headed back to Magic to get ready for the Very Merry Christmas Party!!

Part 2!

This was our first time attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. We got to see all of the shows, gathered the cookies, and rode so many rides with very little wait. Some rides even have holiday overlays. Jingle Cruise was especially fun! We ended up staying until the party ended at midnight to take full advantage of it!

They have a wonderful parade, a firework spectacular, and 2 stage shows to watch. The park is also full of unique character meet and greets, and lots of special photo opportunities.

This will be a 2 post day! Today we moved to the new cabins at Fort Wilderness! Todd met up with us for the rest of the trip too! I’ve never stayed here and it is such a neat resort. The cabins themselves are adorable and we have been loving it. If you stay here — get a golf cart! The resort itself is bigger than Magic Kingdom so you will want a quick way to zip around! It is such a calm and peaceful place here!

Part 2!

We headed to Hoop Dee-Doo for the special holiday DVC night. I have never seen this dinner show before and I have to say it was incredible. The food was amazing. The entertainment was amazing. They get everyone involved. It was such a fun experience!

After the event, Todd and I headed to Epcot to walk around the countries at night. It’s one of our favorite things to do to relax and just enjoy the lights and explore.

This time I started the morning off at Hollywood Studios. The classic Hollywood decor is amazing at Christmas. I especially love Gertie the Dinosaur! I also played the bounty hunter game with my Magicband+ in Galaxy’s Edge.

After enjoying the best pretzel on property in my opinion from Baseline Taphouse I headed to the Skyliner. First, I explored Caribbean Resort for fun This is such a great moderate resort! Next, I got back on the skyliner and headed to Epcot to do a short visit to see some of the Festival of the Holidays.

Our first park day ended up a little edited as many people got sick and had to stay behind to rest. I headed to Animal Kingdom for a quick morning enjoying the holiday decor. The animals for the mágica menagerie were awesome! I’ve never seen Animal Kingdom during the holidays so this was a treat!

After a gorgeous morning I used the walking path at Saratoga Springs to head to Disney Springs for some Christmas shopping. I love the interactive windows at World of Disney. It was fun to watch my name pop up in the displays.

My dad and I headed to the front of the resort to grab dinner to go from the Artists’ Palette and I had to get a picture of Maximus. He cracks me up. The whole lobby is full of different Disney horses.

For the next week or so I will be highlighting our Disney trip! We are so excited to be able to experience Disney during the holiday seasons! We have so many firsts planned for this trip!

Today we headed after school over to our first resort of the trip. We are staying at Saratoga Springs in a 1-bedroom. This is Liam’s first time at this resort! It is such a fun one. Our room has a beautiful view of Disney Springs from the balcony and is right by the walking path!

The pull-down Murphy beds are always comfortable and great with the extra safe it gives you. So much better after the remodel! A 1-bedroom also gives us a full kitchen so we’re planning on cooking to save some $$ when we can!

Let's head over to Hollywood Studios for today's news focus!

This one is a bit of a shocker for all! We knew that Monsters, Inc. was coming, but now we know that it will be heading to the south side of Hollywood Studios and replacing Muppets 3D and the area surrounding it. This includes the incredible suspended door coaster!

For those Muppets fans out there, don't worry, they won't be completely gone. In an interesting twice, Muppets will be taking over Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. Yup, you read that correctly!
