Monday's Magical Must Do

For the next few weeks I'm going to focus on my personal favorites at Epcot. This will be some of my favorite rides, shows, and food!

Next in my top 3 rides I would have to include Living with the Land. This is such a unique, relaxing, and interesting ride. Plus, there really is never a very long wait. It is so fun to see all of the things they are growing and the unique ways they are discovering to do it. It's also a great chance to sit down for a break with some air conditioning.

We've even done a Behind the Seeds tour here. It was amazing!

Advice from a Disney Kid!
Tip #32
"Dress up in costume for the Halloween parties."

You can tell Liam had Halloween on the brain. During Mickey's Not So Scary and Oogie Boogie Bash, guests are allowed to dress up in costumes. It is so much fun to see what everyone comes up with. Just make sure you've taken weather into account!

They have announced some closing dates for Muppets area (Grand Avenue) as they get ready to work on the new Monsters, Inc-themed land! I know many of you may be sad to see Muppets go, but I am beyond excited for Monsters, Inc! Plus, don't forget, the Muppets will be headed to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.

Monday's Magical Must Do

For the next few weeks I'm going to focus on my personal favorites at Epcot. This will be some of my favorite rides, shows, and food!

To start off in my top 3 rides I would put Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. To be honest this is currently my favorite ride of any of the Disney parks! I will admit it took riding it twice to not be dizzy on it, but it's totally worth it. Even the queue before you enter the ride is fun to look at! The pre-shows just add to this story coaster and really help you feel a part of everything.

Liam has ridden it 3x at this point, but has decided it's a bit too intense for him right now. I would suggest this one for your littles even if they are tall enough unless they really like thrill rides!

"Go to Oogie Boogie Bash in Disneyland....it's not scary."

Can you tell Liam likes the Halloween events? Last year we popped out to Disneyland during the fall and got to experience their Halloween event as well, The Oogie Boogie Bash. It was a lot of fun!

We popped into Epcot for a quick trip in the afternoon. I’m always amazed at how many people think Epcot is the park to skip. You are missing out!

We didn’t even ride any rides and had an absolute blast! We started off by watching some of the artists painting on stage and then headed to take part in painting the mural! Afterwards they give you a picture of what it will look like completed! Liam LOVED this. Next, we walked around exploring the countries and trying some of the food booths we didn’t get to the first time. We finished our Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine and got the Figment Rice Krispie prize. We also picked up our new passholder magnet on our way out. So much fun as always!

Monday's Magical Must Do

Last week with my personal favorites at Magic Kingdom!

When it comes to shows/attractions at Magic Kingdom, my favorite has to be the classic Carousel of Progress. This audio-animatronic show follows a family over 4 generation showcasing the evolution of technology in their lives.

Walt Disney originally created this attraction for the 1964-65 New York World's Fair. In 1975 it was moved to Magic Kingdom. It also has an amazing song, "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow", that will give you all the feels!

Our final day of the trip was spent at Epcot enjoying the Festival of the Arts. We had a blast eating at Le Halles, riding Remy, and exploring the countries. We did the scavenger hunt where we had to find Figment hidden in paintings around the countries. Just a few of the amazing things from the festival included the chalk art, the live performances, the Broadway displays, and of course all of the delicious food!!!

Today we kept it simple with a resort day. We spent much of the day exploring more of Riviera and finding hidden Mickeys.

We also had an early brunch at Summer House on the Lake at Disney Springs and then met my friend/Liam’s teacher for lunch at the resort! Even though it was a bit more chilly today, the beauty of Disney having heated pools meant the boys went for a swim while I got to read poolside.

We finished up the evening with dinner over at Caribbean Beach at the Banana Canana. Definitely plan time in your trip for a rest day! There is so much to do at the resorts.
