Walt Disney World will be featuring a new version of the dining plan this summer! A new dining offer is now available! If you book at least a 4-night stay at a Disney Resort hotel with a minimum of 4-days of tickets, you could be eligible to get a Dining Promo Card. This offer only applies to trips booked for arrival dates between June 25, 2023, and September 14, 2023. Each reservation will receive one promo card via email. The offer is good for up to a $750 Dining Promo Card. Current reservations that fit the dates can be modified with the new offer, but keep in mind that some prices recently increased and modifying your reservation could lead to a price increase. The Dining Promo Card will be emailed to the address of the lead guest on the reservation after check-in. This card cannot be attached to a MagicBand or MagicMobile.

Our last few days in Custer State Park went by way too fast! Stugis, Deadwood, wildlife loop, mine tour, Wind cave tour, Hot Springs and amazing views from the top of the Mount Coolidge Fire tower!
There is so much to do in the Black Hills. We definitely didn't see it all.

We have arrived in Custer State Park for the week! 100 degrees here today! Glad we have AC in the cabin!
We stopped in the Badlands for some amazing views on the drive today.
Now it's time to relax and grill some dinner!
The Reed family is back on the road for another road trip. The Black Hills are calling and we must go. Up first is obviously a stop at the World's Largest Candy Store! Loving the new art here! Stay tuned for more travel adventures.

Today was all about the food! So many great items!
Finally got a chance to experience La Crepere De Paris. I got the pre fixe menu and it is 100% worth it! All this (including the hard cider) for $35! Oh and the portions are HUGE!
Short weekend getaway to enjoy Epcot's Food & Wine festival.... But up first is Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind! I snagged group 7 virtual queue this morning!

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Opens May 27 at EPCOT!
Once again, lots of Disney news this week!
It’s time to embrace the magic again! ✨ Character greetings begin as early as April 18 in Disney Parks, Resorts and Disney Cruise Line.
🎉 For the first time since 2020, all Disney Resort hotels at Walt Disney World are now open! This makes it even easier to find a great place to stay! There is still time to plan a great trip to celebrate the 50th anniversary!

Today we had a chance to explore the Anaheim and LA area. We ended up driving right into the Red Hot Chili Peppers Hollywood walk of fame star dedication! That was a fun surprise! Then we walked up and down the walk of fame, saw the Chinese Theatre, the El Capitan and the Dolby Theatre. We then decided to drive up to the Griffith Observatory and took in the sights, including the Hollywood sign. It was overcast, but still amazing! Then we drove over to see the Rose Bowl and attempted to see the Dodgers Stadium. Unfortunately due to construction for an upcoming game, we were unable to stop and see the Stadium. :( Tomorrow we begin the journey back home! California, we will be back!
Another long, but awesome day! Started out at California Adventure park with tons of rides! Then headed over to Disneyland for a few more rides. Grabbed some dinner, more rides and ended the night back over at California Adventure. We are exhausted and ready to sleep in tomorrow!
Disneyland has been wonderful and we can't wait to be back soon! (Maybe when it's slightly warmer 😉)
Today was originally planned as just Disneyland, but we ended up heading over to California Adventure for a few hours before ending our night back at Disneyland. We used Genie + for our entire day and had an amazing time! We are all tired and trying to rest before our last park day tomorrow.
Our last day of driving (until the return trip). Headed out of Vegas after waking up 2 sleepy heads, drove through endless ghost towns to finally arrive in Anaheim. We checked into the Castle Inn and Suites, which is really great BTW! We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a suite which looks directly at the back of the Guardians of the Galaxy ride. Not too bad! Also only 15 mins from hotel door to inside security at downtown Disney! Highly recommend!
Another day of driving. Began bright an early out of Golden Colorado. The mountain views were breathtaking! Drove through Utah and right on into Las Vegas. A quick walk down the strip with dinner at In n Out Burger and back to the hotel for some sleep. Tomorrow some more exploring around Vegas and then finishing up our journey into Anaheim California.
What a day!
What a day! Began bright and early in Souix Falls, SD. Drove through Nebraska and ended up in Golden Colorado for the night. Had some time to drive around and see Coors Field and Empower (Mile High) Stadium before checking into our hotel. Now enjoying some dinner before an early bedtime and more driving tomorrow!
And we're off!!
I'm sure you all think we are crazy for road tripping with these gas prices.....well, with everything we did in the past 2 weeks to build a vacation fund, it's not a problem!
