Standing on the iconic Black Bridge over the Colorado River inside the Grand Canyon!

This magnificent structure is not only a remarkable feat of engineering but also holds a rich historical significance. Black Bridge was completed in 1928 and was originally built to provide access for hikers and mule trains along the Bright Angel Trail. It spans an impressive 440 feet across the river, connecting the South Rim and the roaring rapids of the Colorado River below.

On behalf of BucketList Adventure Tours, we want to thank for completing Rim to Rim to Rim!

This was a special R3 for us. To make a long story short, this group had attempted R3 last March but on this journey, we came upon some challenges that would keep us from accomplishing the entire thru-hike. One of those challenges was saving a hiker at the bottom of the Grand Canyon from hyperthermia. Well, this hiker just accomplished R3 with the group that found him! Thank you!

Hermits Trail sunrise! A day thru-hike on Hermit Trail is no joke. This thru-hike ends at Bright Angel Trailhead, making it a 26 mile trek with over 5000ft elevation gain! This is a tough day hike but if you are up for the challenge, DM us to reserve a spot!!
