Just spent the last week on board the Celebrity Apex for Learning at Sea and had absolutely the best time. If you have never cruised with Celebrity before and you are looking for a more relaxed experience you definitely need to give them a try. When they say they’re a Resort at Sea they aren’t lying.
Here are just a few things I enjoyed over other cruise lines I’ve been on:
We were able to go straight to our rooms. Unlike other cruise lines that you have to wait until the afternoon and carry everything you didn’t check in with you until then.
The WiFi was the best I’ve seen at sea. Even better than some land areas. We were able to stream with no problem. And they had great free movie options as well.
They have natural spaces to sit and enjoy the sea breeze or read a book. Real plants and flowers throughout.
Now I love my kids and love cruising with them but this week there was only a total of 34 kids on board aged 3-18. While the average age is 50+, I never felt like the activities they offered weren’t for everyone.
The entertainment was some of the best I’ve seen. And we had multiple options every night. And they allow (and even encourage) you to take videos and photos during the shows.

Ireland is home to some well know premium beers and liquors with a brewing history that dates back to over 5,000 years ago. With one of its most well know producers being Guinness, which dates all the way back to 1759!
This historical land is full of castles (over 20,000 actually) 🏰, home to St. Patrick’s cathedral, and to the oldest working lighthouse in Europe, Hook lighthouse dating back to 1172!
Aside from being famous for their beverage contributions, did you know we have Ireland to thank for Halloween 🎃 ? This holiday dates back over 2,000 years to the Celtic Festival of Samhain. This festival still occurs every year during the last week of October in Derry, Ireland. During this time, you can also view the northern lights along the Northern Coast of Ireland.
This place is full of history, landmarks, and great flavor.
