After 2 days in Tulum, we headed to Cancun to spend another 2 days at the beautiful Waldorf Astoria Cancun!

Here are my highlights!

1. This property speaks luxury from entry. I was extremely fascinated by the combination of cultural decor and luxury throughout the entire property.

2. The indoor and outdoor restaurants with signature, delicious cuisine options were always fresh and amazing! My favorite was dining at the Malpeque!

3. The spa was incredible! We experienced more hydrotherapy and a Swedish massage.

4. This property holds plenty of meeting space for groups to host an event.

5. The rooms are breathtaking! Spacious and chic, balconies with private tub and shower, overlooking the ocean!

The Waldorf is perfect for those curious travelers, who appreciate 5-star, top tier services. Plus, if plush rooms & suites, with ocean view showers & private soaking tubs from your balcony is your vibe, then you certainly won’t be disappointed!

Recently, I headed to Cancun for an amazing opportunity! Along with a few other Virtuoso advisors, I took a deep dive into two Virtuoso properties in Cancun & the Riviera Maya area of Tulum! My first stop was the Conrad Tulum Riviera Maya!

Here are my highlights!

1. The open concept of the property-provides a serene and relaxed atmosphere. I instantly fell in love with its natural, jungle aesthetics & luxury vibes.

2. All inclusive dining option for guests to enjoy the 11 restaurants & bars on site. From Asian to Mexican cuisine-the food is top tier! My favorite was the breakfast buffet at Arobolea and Mediterranean cuisine at the Maraeta!

3. Plenty of outdoor seating throughout the property, giving guests a relaxed space to overlook the pools and beaches.

4. Hydrotherapy at the Conrad Spa is an absolute must! You won’t regret it!

The Conrad Tulum is the perfect place for an uninterrupted getaway! Ideal for couples looking for a romantic getaway, friends seeking an elevated, relaxed vacation to reset or retreat, and families looking to avoid the busyness of an all-inclusive with amenities for everyone to enjoy!

Serious question...

Why do group vacations never make it out of the group chat? You have the destination, dates of travel, activities planned, and then months later you find yourself saying, "what happened to our trip"?

There is not a particular reason. However, in my experience, the primary reason is usually lack of time. In our chaotic world, many just don't have the time to organize and plan a successful group vacation. A few other reasons I've experienced are:

1. Difficulty making final decisions (i.e. too many opinions)
2. Lack of organization and follow through on plans discussed
3. Various budgets
4. Conflicting schedules
5. It becomes too overwhelming to plan

The good news is, planning a successful group vacation doesn't have to be difficult. As a full-service travel company, I partner with group travelers to assist in alleviating those common barriers.

Whether it's a family of 5 or 20+, I do all the organizing and planning for you!

The truth is…

Vacations are an investment. 💸 Your investment! Travel insurance helps bring that extra peace of mind; knowing that you are covered before, during, and after your trip. Here are 3 reasons why I strongly recommend travel insurance:

Reason #1: Travel insurance helps protect your investment in the event your trip is interrupted due to unforeseen circumstances (sudden emergencies, evacuation, accidental death, natural disasters, illness, etc.).

Reason #2: If you need medical attention during your vacation, your medical insurance may not cover you when traveling outside the U.S. Some countries may even require full payment of your medical expenses before departure. One of the most common questions I receive from clients before travel planning-when should I book? 🤔

The simple answer- at least 6 months for international trips. However, there are several factors considered when planning your vacation. Dates of travel, desired destination(s), room and flight availability, # of travelers, additional planning services, special accommodations required, etc., all play a factor in planning your trip. Which, sometimes, requires longer than 6 months planning time.

Advanced booking time equals more access, availability, and peace of mind! 😎

Can we talk about this serene and magnificently BEAUTIFUL destination? 🌊⛱️🧘🏾‍♀️

From the white sandy beaches, captivating cliff views, and culturally rich experiences, Bali is, without a doubt, one of my favorite destinations to plan. First, Bali is the perfect retreat destination when your group yearns for a tranquil getaway (Nusa Dua and Uluwatu).

Second, I love that travelers become immersed in the Balinese culture through temple tours, nature, and wildlife exploration. Here are a few of my itinerary musts' if Bali is on your bucket list:

1. Must Stay: Alila Villas Uluwatu
This luxury, open-concept property speaks privacy, serenity, and wellness. Offering guests a complementary 60-minute massage, butler service, free daily breakfast for two, special Alila Villas Uluwatu welcome package, this property is perfect for travelers seeking that well-needed getaway.

2. Must See: Ulun Danu Berantan
Constructed almost 30,000 years ago, the Ulun Danu Berantan is one of the most prominent landmarks to visit in Bali. Sitting in the Bedugal Region (North Bali), this natural beauty sits about 1200 meters above sea level in Lake Beratan. Although quite a way from the touristy areas (2.5 hour drive from Uluwatu and 1.5 hour from Ubud), the Ulun Danu Berantan is certainly a must see to add to your Bali itinerary.

3. Must Do: Uluwatu Temple
The Uluwatu Temple, also known as the “place of worship”, allows visitors to soak in its breathtaking cliff views overlooking the Indian ocean, gorgeous flowers, cultural Hindu heritage, and of course the temple's wildlife greeters (aka monkeys). During sunset, visitors witness the Kecak Bali dance performance and fire show. The perfect activity for families!

How far in advance should you book a vacation?

Honestly, it depends on the season and the destination in question. But if you ask me, sooner is always better than later.
