Tickets for Disney Jollywood Nights are also now available! Jollywood Nights is a separate ticketed event taking place in Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort. It has a totally different vibe than Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Think glitz, glam, and old Hollywood! Just like MVMCP, Disney Jollywood Nights sells a limited number of tickets per party date, making attraction and food lines much shorter than a regular day in Hollywood Studios! There are far fewer party dates for Disney Jollywood Nights than MVMCP, so if you'd like to attend, let me help you get your tickets secured today!

If your next trip to Walt Disney World Resort includes children 12 and under, I HIGHLY recommend getting a reservation for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom. We did it with my kiddos two years ago and it was such a sweet experience.

BBB is for girls or boys. They can either shop around the dress shop before their appointment to pick out their favorite dress or knight gear, or they can bring their outfit with them. It was hot the day we went, so we brought a thin version of our kids' favorite princess dresses. I was glad we didn't spend all the extra money on the big, fancy dresses because both of my kids stayed in their dresses less than 1 hour before they were too hot and itchy 🤣.

Your own Fairy Godmother in Training will take you from the dress shop to your own changing room before heading to the salon. There, your princess will get their nails, hair, and makeup done. The pure happiness on my kids' face during their appointments was priceless. Your littles get to take home everything used in their appointment, including a tiara, sash, t-shirt, and bag. For your little knight, they will style their hair and receive a sword and shield.

I will say, getting a reservation can be tricky. For me, nothing was available when my booking window opened. I had to pretty much stalk the site and take whatever came available. Once we got our plans made, I needed to switch my reservation times to earlier in the morning. I joined a very helpful Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Facebook group that dropped and traded reservation times. I was able to snag my ideal times, and everything was perfect, but it did take a lot of effort to coordinate.

Is a makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on your plan list for your next Walt Disney World Resort trip?

In Magic Kingdom at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland, you can be serenaded during your meal by Sonny Eclipse. He is the resident entertainment at this quick service meal location. He is animatronic and reminds me of the characters at Chuck E. Cheese.

Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe is a quick service restaurant that is indoors and offers seating in the air conditioning. The food is nothing spectacular in my opinion, but it is a nice place to take a break from the heat and all the walking to enjoy a quick lunch, dinner, or snack.

My FAVORITE show in all of Disney World is For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, located at Hollywood Studios. If you like comedy, plays, sing-alongs, or the movie Frozen, you will also love this show!

I have seen this show now at least 4 times and I enjoy it everytime. It is basically a summary of the movie Frozen, narrated by two hilarious residents of Arendelle. Elsa, Anna and Kristoff also make appearances. The show plays all of the great songs from Frozen, with the lyrics on the screen so you can sing along!

I have attached a video of everyone's favorite Frozen song, Let it Go! At the very end of the show, Elsa makes it snow on the audience. My kids' faces light up everytime and everyone is smiling from ear to ear!

My family visited the T-Rex restaurant in Disney Springs on our last Disney World trip. It was a very fun and exciting dinner!

When you first enter the restaurant, you walk into a gift shop filled with any and everything dinosaur related. You can buy clothes, books, toys, etc. Once you enter the restaurant, you are totally emersed in a world of dinosaurs! There is a life-size tyrannosaurus rex, brontosaurus, stegosaurus, and many more. The coolest thing is the meteor shower that takes place every 10-15 minutes. The lights flicker and dim and a meteor shower show appears on the ceiling.

If you are looking for a calm, quiet dinner spot, this is not it 🤣

It's no secret that Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love the music, lights, trees, and decorations. My tree goes up on November 1st and I couldn't be happier!

One of my favorite places to visit while at Disney Springs is the Days of Christmas store. From the moment you walk in, you are hit with Christmas overload. There are Christmas songs playing and decorations everywhere! They mostly sell ornaments, but you can also get stuffed animals and other decor.

To say the Days of Christmas store offers a variety of ornaments is an understatement. You have hundreds to choose from! Not all of the ornaments are Christmas themed. There are options for just about every Disney movie or character. They even have cast members that can write names and dates on your special ornaments!

My family has a tradition of buying a new ornament for each trip we take. I write the dates on the bottom and hang them on a special tree in our house. Our Disney tree is starting to fill up with lots of special memories.

Have you ever visited the Days of Christmas store on your Disney trip? I highly recommend it!

🌟I was talking to a couple of friends the other day and they were shocked to hear that it is FREE to use me as a travel agent. I have posted a few times about how my business works, but I thought it was time for a refresher post!

I know it's hard to believe in today's world that anything is free. Disney pays travel agents for the work they do, not the costumer. The cost of using a travel agent is built into each ticket and room purchase, so you are paying for a travel agent whether you use one or not!

No strings, no fees. If you book your trip with me, you get all of my tips, tricks, and advice, and I get paid from Disney World after your trip is complete. It is as simple as that! Only clients who book with me get all of my help before, during, and after their trip. I do not give out information to people who are not clients with booked trips. Would you work for free?

When using me as a travel agent, I can be involved as much or as little as you want me to be! I can book every single detail of your dream vacation, or I can simply answer your questions and work with you while you plan and dream. It's your vacation and I am just here to make it the best it can be!

Please message me if you have any questions on my business or if you are ready to start the booking process!🌟

We visited Gideon's Bakehouse on our last Disney trip in February. Wait times to get inside can easily be over an hour, but were only 20 minutes when we were there!

The interior is super dark and spooky. There are creepy doll pictures on the walls and cool decor. On the day we visited, they had over 7 different types of cookie flavors available. Cake slices are also available, but we ended up with chocolate chip, strawberry, and cookies and cream cookies. To say they are huge is an understatement! If you like soft, slightly underbaked cookies (my favorite), you will love these!

Have you ever tried Gideon's cookies or cake?

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) dates have been released and tickets are on sale now! If you know me, you know my love/obsession for Christmas, but Halloween is a very close second for me! I love all the decorations, pumpkin everything, and candy! All of this can be found at MNSSHP!

With these limited number of special event tickets, you are able to enter Magic Kingdom at 4pm, with the party going from 7pm-midnight. Genie+ is unavailable during the party, which in my opinion is a good thing because you are not on your phone booking rides all night.

There are so many special things happening at the party that don't happen during a regular park day at Magic Kingdom: trick or treating, dance parties with Disney Jr. characters, special Halloween-themed food offerings, rare meet and greets (like Bruno from Encanto and lots of Disney Villains!), spooky firework display, Boo To You parade (kicked off by the Headless Horseman), and a stage show featuring the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus! It is 100% worth it to spend the spooky season at MNSSHP!

I have attached pictures of the available dates of the party. Let me know if you're interested in tickets and I can help you purchase and plan your trip! 🎃

My favorite mode of transportation that Disney World offers are the boats. We took one from the Yacht Club Resort over to the Boardwalk to spend the afternoon. Even though we weren't going to any of the theme parks on this trip, we all still wanted to ride on the Skyliner. The boat from the Yacht Club Resort and the Boardwalk can go to either Hollywood Studios or EPCOT. We took the boat to EPCOT. Its back gate has the Skyliner entrance that doesn't require a park ticket to ride.

The boat ride from The Boardwalk to EPCOT was a bit longer and very enjoyable. There are seats indoors on the boat, but we decided to sit outside because it was a very nice day. A lot of your time at Disney World is spent running around trying to get from place to place. I highly recommend taking a moment to enjoy a relaxing boat ride to take in the scenery around you.

06/05/2024

The Boardwalk was our favorite place we visited on our most recent trip to Florida! Not only was it surrounded by beautiful scenery, it had a cool vibe.

To get to the Boardwalk from the Yacht Club Resort, we took a Disney boat ride across Crescent Lake. It's a pretty short ride, but it gives you a unique persepctive of the Boardwalk as a whole. Once off the boat, we walked both directions to see all the store options. We came to a large souvenir shop that also had a dessert case and freezer section, offering any kind of snack you could want. The Boardwalk also has a restaurant called The Flying Fish and an ice cream shop.

The coolest thing the Boardwalk offers is surrey bike rides. We had never rode on one before, so we had to give it a try. They have two different types of surrey bikes. One has a bench seat for adults and a smaller seat up front for kids. The second one is larger, with two bench seats and a smaller kid seat. We rented the smaller one for 30 minutes and were able to drive it all around Crescent Lake twice. The lap around the lake takes you from the Boardwalk, all the way around to the Yacht Club Resort. While most of the ride was easy and relaxing, we underestimated the leg strength some of those hills required 🤣. We will definitely ride the surrey bike again on our next trip!

Disney's Yacht Club Resort was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Our initial plan after eating breakfast here was to go out the back and walk to EPCOT to ride the skyliner. As soon as we stepped outside, our plans changed. The flowers were gorgeous and almost pointed towards the dock and lighthouse. We walked down to the dock and took in the gorgeous surroundings at Crescent Lake. We could have sat there all day just enjoying the view!

Yacht Club Resort has a white sand beach along Crescent Lake, featuring swings and beach chairs. It looked so calm and relaxing; definitely somewhere you could spend a relaxing afternoon.

The swimming area at Yacht Club Resort looked like a great place for the family to enjoy. It had a large pool with a windmill. One of the coolest features of the pool area is a slide that looks like a realistic wrecked ship. Its location right off the beach and Crescent Lake is perfect.

We usually stay at a value resort because we spend so little time in our room. After seeing the Yacht Club Resort, we may have to switch it up!

Another resort we visited on our last trip to Florida was Port Orleans French Quarter. The resort was very nice, and the theme was cool. The over-the-top Disney theming we are used to at the All Star Resorts wasn't there, but it is still something special to see. You could hear live jazz music being played in another part of the lobby, and the path to the pool was decorated with alligators and musical instruments.

While there, we made sure to stop by the S**t Cat's Club Cafe to get some beignets. Beignets are a deep-fried pastry, covered in powdered sugar. And of course, they're Mickey shaped 😄. The line was very long, but they were SO good! You can order them in a 3 or 6 pack. The 3 pack comes with one dipping sauce and the 6 pack comes with 2. The sauce choices were chocolate, strawberry, or caramel. We tried the strawberry and caramel. No one in our group liked the strawberry, but we could have drunk the caramel sauce 😂. We will DEFINITELY be coming back here for more in the future!

If you visit S**t Cats for their amazing beignets, make sure to ride the boat back to Disney Springs. It's a nice, relaxing ride, and the scenery is beautiful!

On our most recent trip to Florida, our family tried out the Ale & Compass breakfast at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. We enjoy trying out new restaurants while we're there and exploring different resorts that we have never stayed at before.

For their breakfast, they offer a few options. You can get their buffet, which has things like yogurt, croissants, mini muffins, fruit, and cinnamon rolls. They also offer different entrees, with combinations of meats, eggs, and sweet meals. There is also an option to have the buffet with an entree. This is what my husband and I did. From the buffet, I tried their strawberries, yogurt, a mini muffin, and a cinnamon roll. It was all just okay in my opinion. As my entree, I got the salted caramel apple french toast. Honestly, it was kind of bland and lacked flavor. My husband got the dark chocolate waffles and thought they were pretty good. My kiddos each got an order of the Mickey shaped waffles (a staple of any Disney World trip 😉). Each of their meals came with two sides. They both seemed to enjoy it.

Overall, the resort was beautiful, but the breakfast wasn't something I'd care to try again. The good thing about this location is the breakfast isn't as expensive as most places at Disney World ($15-$23 per adult and $7-$10.50 per child) and reservations weren't as hard to obtain.

24/04/2024

I am a full supporter of staying onsite while vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort. Being immersed in the 'Disney Bubble' is a real thing and it's one of my favorite parts of staying onsite. Everything is themed to surround you in Disney charm, there are onsite restaurants and cafeterias, pools, arcades, gift shops, and unique events each night, such as making smores at the campfire or watching movies outdoors. Having transportation available at any time to take you where you need to go is also a HUGE bonus!

One of the arguments against staying onsite is that it is cheaper to rent a house somewhere near the resort. While this may be true if you have a very large family or are staying with multiple families to be able to split the cost, I've always been able to find an equivalent (if not cheaper) room at a resort! Disney World will typically have discounts or special offers that can be applied to make your stay even cheaper or provide you with more benefits, such as free dining plans.

Another thing to consider when deciding between staying onsite or offsite is parking. If staying onsite at a Disney World Resort Hotel, parking at the resort and all four parks are free. If you are staying offsite in a rental house, your parking is most likely free, but some hotels do charge a per-night parking fee. If staying offsite, you will have to pay $25 each day to park at one of the four theme parks. You will also be walking further from these parking lots, whereas the Disney World Resort buses/boats/monorails/skyliners drop you off/pick you up right at the entrance gates to the parks. Traffic around Disney World Resort is also INSANE! We did a lot of driving around the area the last time we were in Florida, and I couldn't believe the traffic! Almost everywhere we went was long lines and stop-and-go traffic, so make sure you allow for extra time if staying offsite.

At the beginning of this month, my family and I took a trip to Florida and did not visit any of Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and didn't stay at a Disney World Resort hotel (I know, shocker!) We stayed in a VRBO in a nearby city and just relaxed at our pool and drove around experiencing the city. We did take some time to do some Disney-related things, such as visit Disney Springs, ride the skyliner and two boats. My kids' favorite thing is to ride the resort buses, so we had to do that, too😄.

The only benefit I found to staying offsite was the space the house provided and the private pool. We really liked having more space in the house than we do at a Walt Disney World Resort room. Having two bathrooms and actual bedrooms was also very nice. We got a lot of use out of the attached pool and it was nice having it all to ourselves. While all of this was wonderful, I missed being able to walk to dinner or fun activities, and I hated having to navigate all the traffic to get anywhere we needed to go.

I have made a prior post showing pictures of a room at All Star Movies Resort, so I am posting pictures of our VRBO house for comparison.

Aladdin was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I remember proudly wearing my Abu necklace from Avon everyday 😜. My kiddos have met Jasmine at Disney World a few times and we still have Aladdin on our meet and greet wish list.

In Adventureland in Magic Kingdom, Aladdin has its own special ride called The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. If you've ever ridden Dumbo, the ride is the same. Except instead of a flying elephant, you ride on a flying carpet. My kids get the same kick out of taking me higher than I feel comfortable going, just like they do when we ride Dumbo.

Have you ever ridden The Magic Carpets of Aladdin at Magic Kingdom?

While its real name is Spaceship Earth, my family calls it the EPCOT Ball. No matter what you call it, it is the most recognizable object at EPCOT. While it is best to see it up close and personal, my family even loves looking for it while taking the buses back and forth to our resort!

At sun set, Spaceship Earth lights up with different designs and plays music, called Beacons of Magic. It is really beautiful to see! The light show will play every 15 minutes until the fireworks show starts.

Have you ever taken a break to watch the light show on the "EPCOT Ball?"

Walt Disney World Resort has so many characters meet and greets. Too many to mention! My kiddos are currently obsessed with Anna, Elsa, and all the songs from Frozen, so I will focus on that special meet and greet in this post.

A lot of meet and greets just take place in certain outdoor areas around the parks. To meet Anna and Elsa, you will need to visit Royal Sommerhus in the Norway pavilion of EPCOT. Here, you will wait in line inside the sister's summer house. The decor resembles a real house and features Anna and Elsa's dolls, wood carvings, and family photos.

Once you walk into the space with Anna and Elsa, the backdrops are gorgeous! It looks like the sisters are standing in open windows overlooking Arendelle. Behind Elsa, you can even see her ice castle! It is a truly special meet and greet and one not to miss!
