Let’s take a moment to pause for Waco Wednesday! This week, we are featuring the Dr. Pepper museum! A beloved American drink invented right here in Waco. Not only does this museum feature memorabilia, it also comes with Dr. Pepper Floats and the chance to make your own soda flavors! Perfect for families in the summer time, the DP Museum also provides a student program that teaches kids about entrepreneurship and how to market, package, and sell products!

Are you ready to walk into an experience like no other? Walking into the Pivovar takes you to another world much like the BIG CITY. This high class brewery, restaurant, bakery and boutique hotel is sure to satisfy all of your needs. Not only is this a beautiful piece of art, the staff at the Pivovar are also incredibly kind. While visiting, we were served by a loving gentleman who fostered meaningful conversations that ultimately led to a new friendship. As we were leaving, we were informed that our lunch had also been fully paid for and we were free to go. With delicious food, friendly service and beautiful aesthetics, you cannot miss the Pivovar while in town!

Happy Waco Wednesday! This week we will be highlighting a local downtown art gallery called Cultivate 7Twelve. Cultivate is unique in its various offerings. This museum showcases various artists and is constantly being updated. Hello everyone! Today is our first of many Waco Wednesday’s! Our hope is to give weekly insight to our favorite local hotspots as a sneak peak to what our itineraries offer! This week we would like to showcase Tejan, a Texas Cajun restaurant. Tejan is the perfect spot for large groups and families with little kids who like to run around. There are multiple areas for large groups including the outdoor patio, indoor patios or main meal area. One unique quality offering that Tejan provides is the ability to feed turtles and catfish in their personal pond while you are waiting for your food. Each handful of food will only cost you 25¢ and is a great way to entertain kids! Additionally, Tejan offers various sea food options ranging from crawfish, catfish, snow crab and more.
