Let’s take a moment to pause for Waco Wednesday! This week, we are featuring the Dr. Pepper museum! A beloved American drink invented right here in Waco. Not only does this museum feature memorabilia, it also comes with Dr. Pepper Floats and the chance to make your own soda flavors! Perfect for families in the summer time, the DP Museum also provides a student program that teaches kids about entrepreneurship and how to market, package, and sell products!

Don’t trail behind on this trail head! The Cottonbelt Trail is an incredible place to exercise safely in our city! It has beautiful views and is paved on top of an old railroad track! It is located near Harris Creek Church and goes on for miles and miles. Get out in nature and see the beauty that our world has to offer!

Are you ready to walk into an experience like no other? Walking into the Pivovar takes you to another world much like the BIG CITY. This high class brewery, restaurant, bakery and boutique hotel is sure to satisfy all of your needs. Not only is this a beautiful piece of art, the staff at the Pivovar are also incredibly kind. While visiting, we were served by a loving gentleman who fostered meaningful conversations that ultimately led to a new friendship. As we were leaving, we were informed that our lunch had also been fully paid for and we were free to go. With delicious food, friendly service and beautiful aesthetics, you cannot miss the Pivovar while in town!

Do you love Dr. Pepper? Did you know that Dr. Pepper was originally created right here in Waco, Texas? Use this as the perfect opportunity to visit the Dr. Pepper museum located downtown where there are various historical Dr. Pepper artifacts that are rotated according to the season. If you have young children this is the perfect place to send your kids for an after school program. The museum has a child’s entrepreneurship program where kids get to invent their own flavor of DP and then learn how to market, distribute and source the product. Don’t forget to grab a Dr. Pepper float on your way out!
