🍹Foodie Friday! 🍗

Chef Art’s Homecoming is a restaurant in Disney Springs that NEVER disappoints! Chef Art is most well known for being Oprah's personal chef, so you know his southern dishes are delicious! Serving brunch, lunch, and dinner; there is something for everyone. They even have a moon shine bar! You can start out with crispy fried pickles, deviled eggs, or green fried tomatoes….all delicious! Next you can’t go wrong with any entree that includes the signature fried chicken. The fried chicken sandwich, thigh high biscuits, or the famous fried chicken plate are all fantastic. Lastly, the desserts are just as popular as the main dishes. It’s hard to choose between the signature Shine Cake, chocolate pecan pie, or the hummingbird cake, but don’t worry if you can’t, there’s a sampler option to try all three. Did you know there is more that one restaurant in Walt Disney World that lets you dine in a castle with the princesses?!?!? Akershus Banquet Hall Princess Storybook Dining lets you experience a taste of Norway along with your favorite Disney princesses. This restaurant, located in Norway in EPCOT, welcomes you into a medieval castle where you can sample some delicious dishes and get pictures and autographs too! Delight in family-style platters fit for the whole royal family! For breakfast, enjoy pastries, scrambled eggs, potato casserole and Norwegian waffles! Lunch and dinner highlights include field greens salad with lingonberry vinaigrette, traditional kjØttkake (Norwegian meatballs) and grilled salmon. You will typically be able to meet Belle, Aurora, Tiana, Ariel and Snow White but these characters are always subject to change. This is a great option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! I’m still on my Disney Cruise high, so let’s talk cruise food! There are so many food options included in the cost of your Disney cruise and they are delicious. We were so impressed with the service and quality of all of our meals. You will have rotational dining every night of your cruise where you can order any and everything you want. This is a great opportunity to sample new dishes that you may not try otherwise. Want 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts, NO PROBLEM 😉 order as much as you want! You can also choose to go the the pool deck or buffet and have a whole different menu. The options are truly unlimited. Another great thing about a Disney cruise is unlimited soft drinks are included; there isn’t an extra package or upgrade. Alcohol and specialty coffees are not included and would be an additional cost, as well as adult only dining options like Palo, Remy, or Enchanté. These restaurants require advanced reservations that I can also help you with. No matter what you choose, there is something for everyone in your party and you can always partake in unlimited ice cream for breakfast or dessert 😜
