Heading home today from the beautiful Hilton La Romana in the Dominican Republic. This gorgeous resort is two properties in one, family friendly side and adults only side. I would go back in a heart beat!

One of the absolute best character meals at Walt Disney World! The food is divine (all you can eat, served family style), the character interactions are so fun (who doesn’t want to meet LILO and Stitch!), and there really is no comparison to the vibe at The Polynesian!

✨Travel Tip Tuesday✨
If you plan on traveling internationally the first item on your to-do list after booking is getting a passport or checking the expiration on your current passport! What most people don’t realize is your passport needs to not expire within 6 months of your arrival in most countries!!
You can also check the state departments website for real time updates on processing times, this can save you time and so much stress!
Moral of the story-check those passports!!

⭐️Travel Tip Tuesday⭐️

If you’re going to a Disney park, you really have to get to know your App! There is so much in your app for planning ahead but even more for when you are IN the parks!
-Ride planning (getting in virtual queues, making Lightning lane selections and checking out wait times)
-mobile order food! Huge time saver, and you don’t have to panic order at the counter, you can look at the menus as long as you want!!
-Find the closest bathroom (my fav is the one by Gaston’s Tavern in MK, it’s never busy and always clean!)
-Check out what characters are out in the parks! I always hope to run into Cinderella’s step sisters!!
-parade and show times! (A parade down Main Street is a Must do!)
-All things photo pass. Who doesn’t love a good ride photo or a family pic in front of the castle.
-Fuel rod stations! I gotta tell you about this if you’re going!
-you can mobile checkout in the gift shops! The lines get crazy and this is a life saver!!
-and so much more!

Amazing Italian food with a Disney twist
The wood-fired pizzas are cooked in an open kitchen right in front of you! And the brunch is some of the best on property. Since it’s not at a Disney park, it’s a great first night meal on your Disney vacation, and then finish the night strolling the Boardwalk.

Travel Tip Tuesday!!

Renting a car can be so helpful in seeing things off the beaten path when traveling but with so many options and so many extra fees, here’s some tips for making your rental car experience easier!

-NEVER use a debit card to pay or put a hold on a rental car. They will put a large hold on funds until the car is returned so you don’t want to have cash funds tied up! Plus if you need to dispute a charge, much easier through your cc!
- Check and see if your credit card has rental car insurance! A lot of personal car insurance policies cover rentals, but so do a lot of credit cards! Skip that pricey insurance at the counter!!
-look at weekly prices even if you only need a few days, it’s sometimes cheaper for the weekly rate.
-make sure you pay attention to all the extra fees, what you think may be a great deal can turn into a not so great deal with fees!
-book your car ASAP for the best rates or ask about bundling it in with your other vacation packages.
-Bring the car back on full, rental car company gas prices are crazy high!
-If you can prevent it, don’t use the rental company car seats! They can cost up to $20 a day and are not always the cleanest. You’d be best buying a cheap car seat that you use just for travel! (We have the $40 Walmart one and it has traveled everywhere with us! )
-And you can always reach out to me to help you navigate any issues!
