The Disney Destiny will begin sailing in November 2025, with bookings opening on September 12, 2024.
The ship's maiden voyage will depart from Fort Lauderdale, and the inaugural season will include 4- and 5-night cruises to the Caribbean and Bahamas.

Did it rain last week while we were in Cancun?
Yes.
But it honestly wasn’t as bad as you would think it would be!

This resort more than made up for the rain because the FOOD WAS AMAZING. The rooms were beautiful, and the cabanas were first come first serve... however we got one even getting out to the pool at 11:00am!

I just wanted to mention that as travel agents.... we cannot control the weather. 😂 Shocker I know.
But that a little tropical depression and some rain, shouldn't truly ruin your vacation. There is still fun to be had!

What else can you do in Cancun with rain??

1. Visit a Cenote! These are amazing to experience. And I wish we would have been able to stay longer to take advantage of actually doing this. We went for total and utter relaxation so we didn't schedule it.. but we talked about it everyday. LOL!
2. Visit the SPA! Most resorts have amazing spas and a massage right before bed is definitely an amazing experience.
3. EAT! Yep.. just keep eating! ORDER ROOM SERVICE. Just do it! We did it for breakfast AND lunch!
4. Go to the pool anyway! Most times the rain will be come and go, and it will clear out the pool, making prime seating available and the pool less busy! Honestly we swam in the rain a lot last week! It was glorious.
5. Partake in a resort activity. Lots of resorts will also have offerings for their guests during the day too! Check them out! We played Bingo and I won a Piñata! haha! Yes, I brought it home!

There are more things you can do... but this was just a good start.
