This spring weather is perfect for getting out and exploring the Adirondack Rail Trail! Walk, run, hike, or bike nine miles of open trail between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. It's a great way to experience multiple Adirondack communities as well as the beauty of nature!

Completed in the fall of 2023, this is the first of 3 trail segments that will ultimately make up a 34-mile trail between Lake Placid and Tupper Lake!

The head of the Coven has spoken!! The details are below. Keep in mind, if you are joining the coven, the lake water is cold even though the temp may be warm… You are responsible for yourself- be smart!

“Attention all witches and warlocks:
The Mirror Lake Witches Coven rides again!

Day:Thursday, October 5,
Time: 4:45 meet and launch at 5:00.
Place: Mirror Lake "dog beach," next to the tennis courts OR wherever you want to enter in Mirror Lake.

PLEASE wear a PFD (aka lifejacket)! Our lake is shockingly cold, since we've had nights in the 30s.
This is a fun and silly gathering of witches. You're welcome to join the fun but YOU are responsible for yourself.
NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY; we're all just witches here!”

Witches are usually over 100 years old - so we assume you are adults!

If you are watching, the witches will ride from the public beach and go along by mids park to approximately The Cottage. Keep your ears open- once you hear that witches cackle you know they are coming!!!
