Strand feeding at the spit! When visiting, head on down to boardwalk 1 (Captain Sam's Inlet) in the two hours before or after low tide and you might be lucky enough to observe this phenomenon!

Now we’re cooking with gas! 🔥
Timely feedback is so important to us! We are always looking for ways to make your stay more enjoyable. ☀️🏖. New additions include a gas cooktop because I disliked the electric one, a new dishwasher because the old one was fussy, and a countertop ice maker for those times the one in the fridge can’t keep up with your vacation cocktails! 🍹🍸 🍻

We bought this home in Seabrook Island and dreamed of the days we could gather our adult children together for family time. We didn’t realize how happy it would make us to share our home with other families, and we love when our guests share their family moments with us!

Where to Find Dolphins Strand Feeding at Seabrook: (save this post for reference!)

Your best chance for seeing this amazing sight is at low tide at the northernmost tip of North Beach.

Make your way to Captain Sams Inlet, which separates Seabrook and Kiawah Islands. It's one of the few places in the United States where you can see Dolphin Strand Feeding.

Guests staying on the island may park at the parking pad on Oyster Catcher Court near Walk 2 and take either Walk 1 or Walk 2 to the beach. Turn left when you reach the beach and continue to the Inlet (aprx 0.5 miles).

When looking for dolphins keep an eye out for fish jumping out the water near the shore. That's a sign a pod may be behind them!

Stay at least 50 yards away, and do not disturb, touch, harass, chase, feed, or swim with the dolphins. Please observe these beautiful creatures with a respectful manner.
