My family & I are vacationing in Cancun. Our tour to Isla Mujeres was cancelled last minute. Knowing that the catamaran wasnt the only way to get there, I thought we might be able to take the ferry & save our plans for the day. Our partners at Lomas Travel jumped in to help. Not only was our driver able to help us speak to the appropriate people at the tour operator, then drive us to another marina, my fabulous BDM, Diana Leon Lomastravel, quickly helped us change our return trip from the ferry port & helped us get refunded. Big changes coming to Genie+!

“At Walt Disney World, guests have told us they would prefer to have the option to do more of their planning before their theme park day. So, this summer we will make changes to our Disney Genie+ service and individual Lightning Lane entry, including new ways to plan ahead.

On July 24, Walt Disney World will introduce new, simpler names to provide more clarity for everyone. Disney Genie+ service will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass, while individual Lightning Lane will now be known as Lightning Lane Single Pass”.

Time to plan your 2025/early 2026 Disney cruise!!

Four ships, the Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Dream, will regularly sail to one or both of Disney Cruise Line’s signature island destinations, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, offering voyages filled with even more Disney magic.

Tropical itineraries await with sailings from the Pacific Coast and Gulf of Mexico in late 2025 and early 2026, and a third season of voyages will embark across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific on the Disney Wonder from October 2025 to February 2026.

As part of Disney Cruise Line’s collection of themed sailings, families will make memories on beloved holiday cruises with Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime sailings in September, October, November, and December 2025.
