Holiday Travel Tips ❗️
Tips for Driving in the Snow ❄️
1. For driving in the snow, ensure the car is all wheel drive (AWD) or 4 Wheel Drive (4WD).
2. Clear snow from your car with a brush or scraper. Do not use hot water to clear snow.
3. Drive slow. Give yourself plenty of distance between vehicles.
4. Keep a full tank of gas.
5. Use sand if your ties get stuck.
6. Look out for black ice. Don’t use cruise control.
Be safe while driving in the snow and use safety precautions.

Breckenridge is known for its ski resorts, year round alpine activities and Gold Rush history. This beautiful city is home to nearly 3,000 acres of skiable terrain and is damping for its winter wonderland charm.
It is Located 105 miles from the Denver International Airport which is a 2 hour drive by car. This destination is great for families, friends, and couples looking for fun in the snow.

Those online travel booking sites you’re using aren’t necessarily concerned with serving you up the best travel choices and options for you.
So many online travel booking sites work off their own best interests.
They serve up trip suggestions based on what inventory they want to move, which suppliers are paying for the top spots, and what will maximize their own profits.
It’s not necessarily about what is best for you and your travel plans.
If you’re booking a quick and simple trip, it may work for you.

I’m completely biased but I really do feel travel is the best gift you can give yourself.
It’s a journey of self-discovery just as much as its a journey to explore a new place.
It’s a such a great way to shake things up, reset and get out of a funk.
One of my favorite trips to date that I’ve treated myself to was my a solo trip to Grand Cayman.
There’s something about ocean views, eating food to your hearts content, and rest and relaxation that just makes life that much sweeter.

Tips for Traveling to the DR
1. Currency and Language: Spanish is the primary language but English is spoken in tourist areas. The Dominican Peso is accepted but US dollars are also accepted.
2. Weather: The Dominican Republic has a tropical climate. Pack lightweight, breathable clothing, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.
Don't forget insect repellent for protection against mosquitoes.
3. Health Precautions
Stay hydrated, as the weather can be hot and humid. Drink bottled or purified water.
Ensure your routine vaccinations are up to date and consult a travel clinic for recommended vaccines.
Be cautious with street food and opt for well-established restaurants to minimize the risk of foodborne illnesses.
