Luckily, polar bears are built for the cold with a thick layer of fat and two types of fur. Their long, coarse guard hairs protect them from the elements, while their soft, downy underfur keeps them warm.

We hope you got to see why polar bears are our favorites! 🐻‍❄️

If not, here’s something cool: Polar bears have such strong noses that they can smell seals up to 30 km away! They can even sniff out baby seals hiding in ice dens. Nature is incredible!
