Tip of the Day:

Trout are not migrating fish and often stay within single digit miles (0-9) from their birthplace. Slow down your lure presentation in the winter months to get lethargic fish to bite your lure. Yes fish can get lockjaw during big winter fronts, but they do have to eat sometime.

During the Winter Months, especially if the Air Temp drops 10 degrees or more, Trout will move from the shallows to deeper water but often return to the shallow flats later on during the day when the water and sea bottom has had some time to heat up.
