I wish I could bring everyone to Disney, and show them what it can look like.
So often I hear people say, “I’ll never go because…” they’ve heard something about it or they assume it is a certain way.
It definitely can be sweaty and expensive. And just go ahead and bet that somebody is going to walk right in front of you in a crowded spot.
But it’s also, twinkly lights reflecting on water. It’s holding your kid’s hand as they ride their first roller coaster. Its smiling til your cheeks hurt on an exhilarating ride. It’s your toddler on your lap, looking up at fireworks, saying “wow!” It’s eating something delicious together. It’s pool games, water slides, and a drink with your spouse. It’s something new every time. It’s familiar streets, sounds, smells.
It’s time away, building memories with your people… in a world of pure imagination.

Float on a lazy river, get taken out by a 6’ wave, or something in between. Any of it can happen at typhoon lagoon. 🌊☀️⛱️All 2025 Disney resort guest get a water park ticket added to their package for their check-in day!! Such a fun perk!
Here’s some stuff I pack for a Disney trip! Besides the obvious clothes and shoes…
1. Magicbands and this multi-port charging box. That way I can keep all of the magicbands together, making them easier to grab and go in the morning.
2. Sunscreen and a beauty blender to make it easier to apply to toddler/kids’ faces.
3. FUELROD phone charger. I like the fuelrods because you can exchange them for charged ones, in the park, if needed!
4. I got this casemate waterproof phone pouch to use at Typhoon Lagoon. Not necessary but I thought it would be fun! We will see how much I use it.
5. Rechargeable stroller fans!
6. Anti-chafing cream/ relief. It happens to the best of us.
Not pictured: Motrin, Tylenol, bandaids, etc. they will have it all for sale in the parks but way more $$
7. Toilet paper. Iykyk. Doesn’t matter which resort category you stay in either… it’s all bad.
Also, Clorox wipes to wipe down surfaces. Idk how often I’ll use these but I’ve seen a lot of Norovirus talk in the FB groups.
Zollipops (and other snacks) for my toddler when he needs a distraction.
Anything else you pack, that others may not think of?
When it comes to getting a Lightning lane for Slinky Dog, via genie+, do not pass go, do not collect $200, do not waste a second! Especially during crowded times. I looked this morning 30 mins after the booking window opened, and slinky dog was already out of Lightning lanes for the day! Crazy! If you think you’re going to use a genie+ for it, it has to be your first choice! So have genie+ bought well before 7. You can purchase it starting at 12 am. If you’re going during a less crowded time right before 7 is fine. 6:59 start refreshing your tip board. Right at 7, book genie+ for Slinky Dog. TAKE WHATEVER TIME YOU CAN GET. If the time doesn’t work, you can go in and try to modify it. Then buy your Individual Lightning lane for Rise of the Resistance (if you want it).Slinky Dog is one of our family favorites! I highly recommend riding it and will always use genie+ for it! I send all my clients genie+ top priorities for each park, plus which ones to rope drop (for the early risers) suggestions on what to ride next and which Lightning lanes to book next!It seems complicated but once you get a Lightning lane or two under your belt, it’s really not bad!

⬇️ 3 reasons to consider a stay in a Fort Wilderness Cabin.
1. Boat ride away from Magic Kingdom
2. Sleeps up to 6 guests- great for families with 4 kids.
3. Vacation within a vacation- the tranquil atmosphere and the recreation make Fort wilderness its own vacation destination!
This is on my Disney bucket list! I love the grounds at Fort Wilderness.
Random video because I don’t have any recent photos/videos to post. But I can message you photos of the new cabins, if you’re interested! 😍
These always book fast! So if you’re considering it, get it booked with a 3 day hold! Deposit of $200 after the hold, balance due at checkin!
You too? Plan a 5 night vacation package for this Spring or Summer and you could! Book before March 27, 2024 for this deal. Message me for more details!
Then the end of August- mid September is the time for you!
These are typically the lowest crowds of the year! So usually one of our favorite times to go!
Disclaimer: It’s going to be hot. Really hot. There will be likely be an afternoon rainfall. But pack some fans, cooling towels and ponchos and it’ll be alright
But if you’re ok with those caveats, it is a great time to go. You can see the fall/ not scary Halloween decorations. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party will be going on.
Labor Day is the best holiday to base a trip around, if you’re wanting to avoid as many school absences as well. Typically is school is out, the crowds are in! But this one isn’t bad!
And if you book your August/September Disney World package through me, you will be entered to win a 2025 vacation! See my last post for details! Or just message me 🙂
A rest day! We always plan a day in the middle of our trip, when we don’t go to any of the parks! We sleep in, swim, play at the arcade. We often visit other resorts or go to Disney Springs. We will do some type of fun meal somewhere. Then end the night with a movie under the stars, or watch the fireworks, depending on which resort we are at. Don’t miss out on the amenities your resort has! These are some of the best days!
Ok… if you have to go during a major holiday… it’s going to be CROWDED. Have y’all seen the spring break videos? 😬
1️⃣ Tip number one is always going to be to pick less crowded times to travel, if you can! Late August/ September are notoriously less crowded times.
2️⃣ Purchase genie+ and individual Lightning lanes. I know… we don’t want to spend any more money. But I include the cost in our budget. This line was over an hour for Big Thunder Mountain. My family was on and off in around 20 minutes with genie+
3️⃣ Rope drop. Rope drop means you go there first… and early! If the park opens at 8:30 for early entry… you want to be at the gate by 8! Technically you’re just pre-waiting. But it helps you accomplish more throughout the day.
4️⃣ set realistic expectations. Let everyone in the family, pick their one must do for the day. Or you choose the top 3-5 things. Have a strategy to get those done and then everything else is the cherry(s) on top!
5️⃣ find areas in the parks that are less popular for a people break. My group can be overstimulated by people. We are not extroverts at all. So we have escaped to less crowded areas for a reset!
6️⃣ most important! Take a deep breath and smile! Everybody there is expecting to have a happy/ magical day but they are probably dealing with unmet expectations. Set the tone for your family by smiling and enjoying what you get to do!
Vacation is one week of the year for us, so I’m trying to make sure we have lots of fun and rest scheduled in! Set your priorities before you go. Make a plan. Have fun!
They don’t know what all there is! And that can relieve you of a lot of stress! You don’t have to try to do everything there is to make it “magical”. They’re not researching the rides, or watching reels of the best snacks and hacks…Having a good plan is super helpful. But the best thing you can do? Have fun with your family! Enjoy the time together. Don’t rush everyone along, trying to do it all. Leave time for little moments that make big memories! Having a plan to get you started, and understanding how things work, will ease the stress before you go. Then when you get there, you’ll be ready to use that plan and just enjoy it as much as you can! I can help you with the plan and making the decisions that lead you to your trip! It doesn’t have to be overwhelming. You pay the same price whether you figure it out on your own or you get a little (or a lot) help from a Disney vacation specialist! Message me for more information or to get started planning a trip!
New promo dropped! There’s another one too, if you’re not interested in doing Magic Kingdom, this trip. But the 4 day ticket is what I’d recommend! Add these tickets to a resort package and you just need a $200 deposit to secure it! Need help picking dates, resort, etc? Message me!
