Character meet and greets aren’t exactly what they used to be, but you can still meet some of the sweetest ones-from a distance. Like these two beautiful best friends‼️👯‍♀️

Minnie Mouse can usually be found greeting guests as they enter into Epcot’s main entrance. 🎀While Daisy Duck might welcome you to join her as she tends her garden in Hollywood Studios. 🌸 Whatever they may be doing, they will always pose for a selfie with you‼️🤳

So, it may be like choosing a favorite child, but which of these two besties has a stronger hold on your heart⁉️

🌺D2T’s ‘Ohana Inspired Noodles 🍜

1 package Stir Fry Rice Noodles
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup soy sauce
2 TBS rice vinegar
2-5 cloves garlic to taste, minced
1 TBS fresh ginger, peeled and grated
1/4 cup Pineapple juice
1 TBS Corn Starch mixed with 1 TBS Water to create a slurry
1 package slaw mix OR 1 cup each of thinly sliced purple cabbage, yellow cabbage, bok choy, and green peppers

1. Cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain, Rinse, and cool. Set aside.
2. In sauce pan, sauté minced garlic and ginger. Add soy sauce, pineapple juice, rice vinegar and brown sugar. Simmer until sugar dissolves. Add corn starch slurry. (If you add just corn starch instead of the slurry form, it will clump and ruin your sauce!!) Simmer on low/med for approximately 10 minutes or until sauce thickens.
3. In a wok or deep pan, sauté chosen vegetable blend until softened. Add previously cooked noodles and sauce. Cook on med for approximately 5-8 minutes until ingredients combine.
4. Plate, garnish with tropical edible flowers (optional) and feel whisked away to ‘Ohana until you can plan your next magical Walt Disney World visit 🌺

The beloved Disney tradition of Pin Trading is happily still happening at WDW‼️🙌

Although it is a little different, is still just as fun. ☺️

1️⃣ Choose the pin you want from the displayed board of sanitized pins.
2️⃣ Remove one of your pins from your lanyard and keep the backing.
3️⃣ Place your pin to be traded in the provided bucket to be sanitized later.
4️⃣ Recieve your chosen pin and proudly add it to your collection.

Before my trip, I of course had all my snacks and meals meticulously planned weeks in advance. 😍 Well, Disney through me a curveball and released new plant based options at one of my favorite quick service stops, Ronto Roasters, in Galaxy’s Edge ⭐️ So being the Disney Foodie I am, I of course had to squeeze them into my plans ‼️

Well everyone, let me tell ya.. this one gets my 100% stamp of approval ‼️

🌱 The Zuchii Wrap which consists of
Grilled Zucchini, Smoky Chickpea-Onion Slaw, Creamy Garlic-Tahini Sauce, and Fresh Cilantro wrapped in Pita Bread for only$11.99 was HUGE, and I split it with a meat eating friend. Talk about a great value 💰 but most importantly, it was DELICIOUS 😋 The vegetables were grilled but still sturdy and toothsome, not soggy and mushy like a lot of plant based meals I’ve encountered in my travels. But get this, my meat eating friend said it was amazing and she didn’t even miss the meat‼️‼️ That’s when you know it’s great.

We also sampled the Andoan Fruit with Muja Sauce which consists of Sticks of Jicama, Cucumber, Pineapple, Melon and Dragon Fruit doused in a Tamarind Sauce and dusted with Peppercorn Ash. For $6.99 it was a refreshing shack, but neither of us were crazy about the sauce, so I suggest ordering it on the side in case you feel the same.

Of course I had a cocktail 🍹 😆 The Coruscant Cooler. I was a little nervous because it is made with
Maker's Mark Bourbon, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth, Cranberry, Lime Juice, and I am not a Bourbon drinker. I couldn’t believe how light and refreshing it was ‼️ I couldn’t be able to handle more than one, so I suggest ordering it towards the end of your park day. 🍹

Reminder , Ronto Roasters is quick service, so be ready to place a mobile order. 📱

🍽 Now, y’all know I’m pretty serious about planning my Disney Dining ( some might call it obsessive, I call it passionate 😆).

But even the most thorough plans don’t always go perfectly. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I was looking forward to a great meal at Epcot’s Teppan Edos with some D2Travel friends, but our busy blitz schedules just didn’t align.

Well, sometimes a change of plans can be a blessing in disguise. 🤩

I was thrilled to find a late night reservation at one of my Disney Springs favorites, the Boathouse 🛥

Not only did I get a fabulous meal (that Raw Bar is EVERYTHING 🙌🙌), we had the best seat in the house 👉🏼 right in the corner of the patio next to the nightly live entertainment next door. Over across the water we had a great view of fireworks 🎇

Great food, great music, great company. ❤️

I cant think of a more magical way to end my trip.

Did you know that you don’t have to be a guest at a WDW Resort to enjoy one of their amazing restaurants or lounges⁉️

On my way from Hollywood Studios to EPCOT I made a quick pit stop to check out Disney’s Riviera via Skyliner 🏨

🧀 Talk about an elegant and delicious afternoon snack‼️🙌I enjoyed Bar Riva’s Baked Brie in Puff Pastry with Fruit Preserves and Grilled Sourdough. Not only did it make me feel swept away to France, it is also 🇫🇷 Accompanied with the Coco di Paradiso Cocktail, I can’t think of a more fabulous midday break‼️

Dying to try one of Hollywood Brown Derby’s infamous classic cocktails, but don’t want a full dining reservation⁉️ Check out their incredible lounge‼️ No reservations required, and the drinks are absolutely superb 🍹

I sampled the Hollywood Lights ⭐️ And it’s definitely on my top 5 for this trip. You even get an adorable souvenir glow cube‼️ Talk about fun 🤩

👸🏼 Heading to the park doesn’t always have to be racing around and rope dropping.

I LOVE a relaxing morning and talking a minute to soak up the magic of being on an extraordinary vacation.

This morning was perfection. ❤️ We enjoyed a leisurely ride on the Friendship Boats from Beach Club over to the Boardwalk. 🛥

We picked up an INCREDIBLE quick service breakfast at Trattoria al Forno (CHECK OUT THAT AVOCADO TOAST 😍 the balsamic glaze was AMAZING 🤩 and vegetarian friendly 🌱). 🥑

Then we stopped at Boardwalk Bakery for a nice Sangria to get ready for our ladies day at Hollywood Studios 🎥 🍹

🌹 It has been truly magical to explore some of the incredible lounges on WDW property. My hands down favorite so far has been Enchanted Rose at Grand Floridian 🌹

A modern, subtle nod to my childhood favorite film , Beauty and the Beast, this lounge definitely sweeps you into an enchanted fairytale. 📚

I ordered the signature cocktail, the Island Rose, which consists of Ketel One Grapefruit and Rose, Lime, Orgeat (Almond), Pineapple, Bitters, and Rose Water. 🍹 It was light, beautiful, refreshing and unique. This maybe my new favorite cocktail on property ‼️‼️

You’ll never guess where I decided to stop for a quick bite..

CASEY’S CORNER ‼️

I know what your thinking.. Athena eats primarily vegetarian, what is she doing in a hot dog place ⁉️ 🌭

Well, when I heard Casey’s recently opened and I saw a loaded plant based slaw dog on the menu, I knew I would have to give it a try ‼️

This plant based sausage is juicy, full of flavorful and covered in a unique corn slaw blend that delights even the most pickiest of pallets.

I had to add on that adorable baseball brownie, knowing full well I don’t eat sweets 😆 but I gifted it to a little one nearby and he assured me it was DELICIOUS ❤️ ⚾️
