Kristen Cahill, an Affiliate of Academy Travel Academy Travel, the original Dimond Earmarked travel agency to specialize in Disney destinations I specialize in Disney and Universal travel.
(1)

I have traveled Disney solo, with kids in tow from 0-9, and with friends. I have stayed on property and off along with many different resorts. I have also gone to Universal with kids from 0-9 and stayed on property. Including Disneyland, Disney Aulani, Adventures by Disney, Disney Cruises, Disney World, Universal Orlando and Universal Hollywood. From Tickets, Resorts to Packages. The only part of

your trip I do not do for you is your flight and rental car (should you choose one). But I can help with recommendations etc. and other transportation methods. There is not additional cost to use a true Disney/Universal Travel Agent as I am paid through Disney/Universal and Disney/Universal includes the charges for a Travel Agent in all their offerings whether you use one or not. So, you pay the same rate either way. Academy travel is one of the original “EarMarked” travel agency partners with Disney Destinations, and has earned EarMarked status every year. Along with being one of only a 3 DIAMOND level Disney EarMarked Travel Companies in the country. Feel free to call or text me at 248.496.6867, email [email protected] or PM me

Everything to Know Before You Drop Into Tiana's Bayou Adventure at WDW

You might be wondering what to wear, what to bring and how to prepare for an exhilarating musical adventure that crescendos with a 50-foot drop right before the grandest celebration this side of the Mississippi.

Well don’t fret because Disney World has all the things you need to know before riding Tiana’s Bayou Adventure when the attraction opens on June 28 at Walt Disney World.

Tips on How to Ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure:

1. Drop on in-to virtual queue...
When Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens on June 28, it will use a virtual queue. Guests can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at one of two times: 7 a.m. or 1 p.m. While a standby queue will not be available during the attraction’s initial opening days, we expect to open a standby queue soon after the attraction’s opening.

2. ... or purchase Disney Genie+ service.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will also be included as a Lightning Lane entrance in Disney Genie+ service*. Purchasing this service on the My Disney Experience app helps you get to some of your favorite attractions faster through Lightning Lane entrances and includes digital downloads of select Disney PhotoPass attraction photos taken in the park on the day of purchase. You may check the app on the day of your visit for pricing and availability.

3. Smile for the camera!
No party is complete without pictures. As you make your way through the bayou to get to Tiana’s party, Disney PhotoPass Service will serve up a special photo when you’re almost there.

4. Be prepared to get wet!
At some point when you drop on in to Tiana’s party, there’s a strong chance you may get wet. While most riders will appreciate the refreshing cool down, others may want to bring their rain gear.

Didn’t bring any? No worries. There are plenty of places to find a poncho in Magic Kingdom.

5. Shop new attraction merchandise
After riding the new attraction, we can bet you will want to take a piece of the bayou home with you.

Starting June 28, you can find the collections for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and “The Princess and the Frog”-inspired merchandise at the Emporium at Magic Kingdom. And, shortly after the attraction debuts, the merchandise will hop over to Critter Co-Op in Frontierland.

6. Try some of Tiana’s Famous Beignets!
A trip to the bayou is never complete without some good eats and sweet treats. Among the food and beverage offerings Disney World looks forward to sharing soon will be Tiana’s Famous Beignets, of course.

Beginning opening day, Golden Oak Outpost and The Friar’s Nook will be serving up these light, sweet, and fluffy beignets drizzled with honey and powdered sugar. These will be available for a limited time only so let the good times roll.

June 28th at wdw Tiana's Bayou Adventure officially opens. 💚💛👑🐸

New Addition at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows

The new Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows will take guests on a storytelling journey that brings to life the spirit of Polynesia.

Projected to open in December 2024, the new proposed 10-story tower overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon will take you on a storytelling journey that brings to life the spirit of Polynesia, the natural world, and of course, the magic of Disney.

Overlooking the picturesque shores of Seven Seas Lagoon, Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows will be within convenient walking distance to the Disney Monorail, making it the perfect base for visiting Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT.

Did you know that original concept designs for Disney’s Polynesian Resort featured a prominent tower as the heart of the resort? Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows will complete the vision created by Disney Imagineers decades ago while embracing the rich culture from the Polynesian Islands.

When guests arrive at Island Tower, they will be greeted by traditional Polynesian tattoo designs created exclusively for the exterior, including a gorgeous Manta Ray that symbolizes freedom, protection and grace in the Polynesian culture. The Manta Ray is also revered as a guardian of the family, kind of like Gramma Tala in the Walt Disney Animation Studios film “Moana.”

Speaking of “Moana,” be sure to look for our fearless wayfinder and her friends as they are subtly featured in artwork throughout the resort, including Island Tower’s stunning lobby.

Inside the lobby, guests will be greeted by a panel installation on the ceiling inspired by several Polynesian Islands, showcasing wildlife native to each locale. Each animal holds a strong connection to the islands and symbolizes values important to the people of Polynesia.

Walt Disney Imagineering collaborated with over a dozen artists from around the world to create unique artworks that will be displayed throughout the resort. From preserved moss walls to sculptures made from recycled fishing nets, each piece will be inspired by the spirit of conservation and embody the rich culture of Polynesia.

Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows will feature a variety of room types that will sleep from two to nine guests, such as duo studios, spacious one- and two-bedroom villas and brand-new two-bedroom penthouse villas. And on June 6, all guests will be able to make reservations online, by phone or by travel agent.

In addition to the colorful décor, here’s just some of the entertainment, photo opportunities and themed menu items in store for guests:

* If guests’ feet favor a twist to a western beat, they should be sure to join the Country Line Dancing at The Golden Horseshoe.
* Immersive photo opportunities throughout Disneyland park allow guests to step into the story with photo backdrops inspired by Disney characters and films.
* Guests can enjoy savory snacks and sweets curated specially for the party, including these new items: Key Lime Pudding and Red Berry Sangria at River Belle Terrace, 5 Spice Popcorn Chicken at The Tropical Hideaway, Funnel Cake with Cereal Milk and Multi-Colored Marshmallow Cereal Topping at Stage Door Café and Firecracker Loaded Fries at Hungry Bear Restaurant, to name a few!
