This past weekend, I finally dined at Space 220 in EPCOT—a meal five years in the making! I had been waiting to eat here since December 2019, when it was first supposed to open. But then came delays, COVID, more delays, and somehow, I just never made it… until now! And let me tell you—it was worth the wait!

My story...

Hello! I caught the travel bug early in life being raised in a family where a summer vacation somewhere was always guaranteed! Growing up in Florida, this often meant trips to Disney World but also trips up and down the eastern seaboard and sometimes out west to places like Yellowstone. I have carried my passion for travel to my own family with my husband and young daughter who are always looking forward to our next trip. We have been fortunate to have lots of different types of travel experiences - to nearly every major city in the United States to visiting most of the National Parks out west to cruising the Mediterranean (and the Baltic!) to that one time we got annual passes to Disney World and went eight times in one year (even though we are a solid eight hour drive away)! While we enjoy doing the standard touristy things, we also like to position ourselves as temporary locals when we travel - whether it be knowing just the right spot for a perfect sunset or where to get the best slice of pizza.
