Meet Kathy Hill, Crude Supply Account Manager for Ergon Oil Purchasing, based in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. Kathy has been a member of the for almost 12 years and brings a total of 40 years of industry experience to her role.

In her current position, Kathy purchases oil for the Ergon - West Virginia refinery, sourcing from producers in West Virginia and southern Ohio. She also manages producer accounts, ensuring smooth operations by strapping tanks, monitoring oil production, coordinating tank hauls and facilitating oil payments.

Kathy’s favorite part of her job is connecting with producers and helping them efficiently transport their oil to the refinery.

Outside of work, Kathy enjoys cooking, tending to her garden and traveling across the country to visit her children. Thank you, Kathy, for all you do for the !

Stay Out of Blind Spots:
Large trucks and buses have huge blind spots around the front, back and sides of the vehicle. If you can’t see the driver in the truck’s side mirror, assume the driver can’t see you either.

- Avoid driving in a truck’s blind spot — either slow down or move ahead safely to stay visible.
- Be particularly careful when merging near a truck or bus, as you’re likely in the driver's blind spot.

As a finale to the American Public Works Association’s PWX 2024, Ergon helped sponsor a Pavement Preservation Demonstration. This hands-on demonstration included Hot In-Place Recycling, Crafco’s Crack Sealant and EZ Patcher and Tricor’s RECLAMITE® Asphalt Rejuvenating Agent. This allowed participants to interact with industry experts and experience their technologies up close. Our Story

Founded in 1954, Ergon’s roots are in the petroleum industry service areas, including trucking and propane distribution, marine transportation and petroleum marketing. Over time, the company added ventures in refining, terminaling, asphalt marketing, mid-river operations, exploration, maintenance support and real estate to form a base of entities that would become Ergon subsidiaries. Today, Ergon operates as a sophisticated crude oil processor, transporter and marketer of refined products, as well as a producer and marketer of specialty asphalt products, an oil and gas explorer, and a real estate developer. Ergon also functions as a manufacturer of road maintenance products and equipment. We're family owned and operated. Driven by the values of hard work, customer service, reliable supply and quality products, we've grown steadily and strategically over the years to become a well-diversified organization.
