Meet David Conerly, Coordinator at Ergon’s Fuels Terminal in Vicksburg, Mississippi (formerly CITGO). David has worked at the Vicksburg Fuels Terminal for over 36 years and joined the following our acquisition of the terminal over a year ago.

From the terminal, Ergon serves the wholesale fuels market in western Mississippi and eastern Louisiana, and David is a vital asset in this operation.

During his free time, David enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his daughter and grandchildren. Thank you, David, for all your hard work!

The Georgia Chapter of the American Public Works Association recently named its 2024 Project of the Year, and is proud to have been part of this success story. This Effingham County road project used Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) with engineered emulsion on a one-mile stretch of Indigo Road. The race will benefit the American Cancer Society's breast cancer awareness initiative. All Ergon employees, family and friends are encouraged to participate in the 5k Run/Walk, Kid’s Fun Run (10 and under) or volunteer the day of! The 5k Run/Walk fee is $30, or $35 if signing up the day of the race. The fee for the Kid's Fun Run is $15.

Recently, members of our Energy & Specialty Solutions business segment attended the Ergon Asia Technical Summit in Singapore. This provided the opportunity for the team to gather to evaluate our portfolio, train new team members and explore opportunities for developing new solutions to meet our customers' needs in the region.

One of the highlights of the summit was presenting the inaugural "Merlion Award" to Ergon's Silvia Carvalho for her exceptional support of the HyPrene brand over the years. The Merlion, a symbol of Singapore, represents strength, resilience and prosperity – all qualities that Silvia embodies. Her dedication and hard work have been instrumental to our success, and we are grateful for her invaluable contributions.

Founded in 1954, Ergon’s roots are in the petroleum industry service areas, including trucking and propane distribution, marine transportation and petroleum marketing. Over time, the company added ventures in refining, terminaling, asphalt marketing, mid-river operations, exploration, maintenance support and real estate to form a base of entities that would become Ergon subsidiaries. Today, Ergon operates as a sophisticated crude oil processor, transporter and marketer of refined products, as well as a producer and marketer of specialty asphalt products, an oil and gas explorer, and a real estate developer. Ergon also functions as a manufacturer of road maintenance products and equipment. We're family owned and operated. Driven by the values of hard work, customer service, reliable supply and quality products, we've grown steadily and strategically over the years to become a well-diversified organization.
