RUSH! A Junkanoo Celebration is one of the new entertainment offerings at Disney’s Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. It takes place at the Goombay Cultural Center and celebrates the Junkanoo traditions of the Bahamas.
It’s really high energy and fun and you can even follow the parade around a bit of the island. Our favorite parts were the elaborate handmade costumes and the conch players. Yes! They’re playing conch shells in the last clip!

On our last trip we took my daughter to the Droid Depot experience at Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios. She absolutely loved it!

Thinking about the plane ride home? They have a backpack you can buy—otherwise it comes in a box. We took her droid out of the box and placed it in one of our carry-ons wrapped in a hoodie for protection. No issues at MCO.

My family absolutely loved H2O Glow at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. This after-hours party takes place on select nights during the summer.
Tickets included:
🌊 Park admission starting at 6pm until midnight
🌊 Unlimited complimentary snacks including popcorn and Mickey Bars

🌊 Special character meet and greets (in 2024 this includes Phineas and Ferb)

Overall we just had a blast as a family enjoying the water park in the dark, eating ice cream and dancing with Dale.
