We stayed the weekend at Aloft Hotel Orlando for Main Street Magic Wonderland Crew meetup Friday and The Eras Party: A Taylor Swift Inspired Dance Party at the The Abbey in downtown Orlando. We’ve stayed at Aloft before in the Disney Springs area, this time we were closer to Sea World. Location was actually more convenient than we originally thought. Access to I4 was simple, still about a 15 minute drive to Disney.
🟢 rooms are spacious and comfortable
🟢 very fun and clean lobby area with bar and games
🟢 modern art deco and theming, nice pool
🟢 good service, quiet and fresh/clean
🟢 great location for Sea World visitors

🔴 biggest downside: $24/night parking
🔴 not super convenient to Disney
🔴 not a great room layout for families or even 2 couples with the shower being outside the bathroom

Last night, after a very busy day in Magic Kingdom, lines waiting for the ferry back to the TTC reached excessive lengths and wait times after the monorail went down.
Everyone had to wait for the ferry back to the parking lot, which also had excessive waits for parking lot trams.

Guess who WASN’T waiting in this mess?!.. ON-SITE RESORT GUESTS!

Sometimes ya just gotta take a break from the rides and just have some fun with Disney characters! We had a great time with a bunch of character meet and greets today throughout Epcot and Magic Kingdom. Crowd level was pretty high with it being marathon weekend, but we made the best of it and enjoyed so many characters creating Disney magic ✨✨

We ate here for the first time this weekend. It was a wonderful experience. Once again, Disney did an amazing job making it so immersive. The restaurant felt like you were sitting in middle of France and had true authentic French food and wine.

French baguette was delicious, good chewy and crusty

All of our meals were delicious! (Check captions in the photos)

Good value, lined right up with typical sit down dinner around Disney. Good size portions too.

Only downside really was no passholder discount.

Would definitely recommend as a great French restaurant experience.
