My 5-day Oaxaca City itinerary! 🇲🇽 (✈️ MSN - OAX). Day 1: Arrival…Depending when you arrive, I would recommend a sunset food tour with Oaxaca Eats Food Tours . Day 2: Day trip! I love getting out and exploring! A full day trip to visit the home of mezcal and a Zapotec village plus ruins is perfect! Day 3: Central Oaxaca City is incredible-from the food to the arts. I spent this day exploring, from the Ethnobotanical gardens to the Gastronomy Center to salsa dancing. I also took a nap. Day 4: Markets and Photoshoot. I booked a photoshoot and explored the incredible markets just south of the city center (all by foot). Day 5: Departure day…I booked an hour service with Temazcal Oaxaca in the morning and they even picked me up and dropped me at the airport. 🫶🏻 Have you been to Oaxaca City? What has to be on your itinerary when you travel? For me, it’s food tours!
2022 was quite a year! 6 international trips, 3 of those group trips, one solo trip and 2 family trips. I ate, I worked, I danced and I spent time with my friends and family. Here’s to a healthy and happy new year!

Happy Garifuna Settlement Day! 🇧🇿 This Belizean National holiday celebrated Nov 19 marks the arrival of the Garifuna in Belize about 200 years ago after they were exiled from St. Vincent by the British. The story of the Garifuna is one of strength, resilience and ingenuity. The Garifuna, descendants of African slaves and indigenous Arawak communities, resisted French, Spanish and English opposition, oppression and persecution and eventually were given land in Belize. There’s so much more to the story, and I feel honored to have the opportunity to learn from Uhwanie and her father Eugene at the Garifuna Cultural Center in Hopkins on our culinary and culture vacation to Belize.Have you learned about or from the Garifuna in your travels? Next Belize it! Belize Culinary and Culture Tour dates are July 2023! .....…………………………………………..#garifuna #garinagu
