🇬🇷Greece has definitely made a name for itself in the field of luxury crewed yacht charter. The 20th East Med Multihull & Yacht Charter Show, recently held in Poros, Greece brought together over 100 yachts, underscoring this country's growing reputation in the yachting world. We were there!

See the list of the award-winning culinary chefs on the yachts at this year's show and a video of some of our favorite highlights! This show allowed us to go onboard each of the yachts, inspect and meet the crews and enjoy their warm hospitality. Each time we go to this show, we feel more at home! And we learn helpful new details about where the crewed yachts like to take their guests on a week-long charter. The show also promoted an ecological footprint, in line with the “green” transformation of Poros, in the framework of the “GR-Eco Islands” initiative.

It was Greece's culinary delights that provided yet another highlight of the event. Having the privilege of firsthand witnessing the best yachts available in the region let's promote the winning Chefs! Greece boasts an extensive range of agricultural products, including renowned items such as olives and olive oil, cheeses, wines, mastic, and saffron. These products have garnered international acclaim as Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), earning prestigious distinctions for their exceptional quality and irresistible characteristics. 🚩At first glance, the cockpits of airplanes and yachts seem like worlds apart. One a high-tech marvel soaring through the clouds, the other a privately crewed charter yacht dancing on the surface of the sea. Yet, for some airline pilots like Captains Dan & Jo G. and Christine K. of United Airlines, there's a surprising allure to the world of sailing, and the skills they've honed in the skies translate very well to navigating the waves. Great review of their recent vacation aboard 59' Catamaran Odyssea in the British Virgin Islands!

"One of the things I noticed was there seemed to be a perfect amount of interaction with the Odyssea Crew. Good service without hovering. We were allowed to help ourselves and participate in sailing wherever we chose to.
1. We liked the family friendliness!
2. Knowledge was shared and we talked navigation as we both share in this topic.
3. Top notch. Meals, table settings and presentation were fantastic.
4. The Crew was very professional but courteous. The whole crew bent over to make us welcomed and stress-free without being overbearing. Great mix!
5. Good value. Overall very satisfied.
6. Food was fantastic. Gi is an excellent chef and First Mate Mario will eventually have to workout excessively to burn off all her great meals!!!
7. We sailed 2 times without engines and we like that very much.
8. Captain Dylan always found a calm bay for anchorages and sleeping
9. We only did scuba and snorkeling. girls did paddle board and Jo and I took out the kayaks.
10. The Baths in Virgin Gorda BVI were my favorite onshore highlight.

"The trip was amazing! Crew was super and First Mate Mario is a great addition. I enjoyed the full sailing the most! Dylan was very knowledgeable about the area and did his best to make our overnights in as calm of water as possible. The scuba dives were amazing."
We suggested to have a drink of the day and Mario was all over it! He came up with a drink each day and gave it a name. We loved it! The shore excursions were fantastic! We loved The Baths in Virgin Gorda. They were amazing. Also we went to Saba Rock for dinner which was delicious! I would definitely recommend the Catamaran Odyssea crew!

Their commitment to excellence was second to none and expectations were exceeded in every way. The service & Dani’s culinary genius is next level! We ate like Kings & Queens every morning, noon & night! Capt. Paul stayed up late to water taxi us wherever we wanted to go & arranged transportation for all. We got lucky to only have 2 other couples join, with whom we didn’t know prior to our trip & became fantastic friends.
As we met others who were sailing through different companies, we learned they were disappointed with the food quality/quantity & overall service. NOT US! Thank you so very much for all your help. Shelly’s resources are aimed at pleasing the discerning customer. My brother chartered his own private yacht. I asked Shelly to find a trip that both I & my BF could join others on. 🚩59’ 2023 Catamaran SEVEN’s three-member crew of Captain, Chef, and Stewardess provide luxury service, meals, cocktails, and most importantly – lots of fun experiences in the BVI! "One of the things I noticed was there seemed to be a perfect amount of interaction with the Odyssea Crew. Good service without hovering. We were allowed to help ourselves and participate in sailing wherever we chose to. 1. We liked the family friendliness! 2. Knowledge was shared and we talked navigation as we both share in this topic. 3. Top notch. Meals, table settings and presentation were fantastic. 4. The Crew was very professional but courteous. The whole crew bent over to make us welcomed and stress-free without being overbearing. Great mix! 5. Good value. Overall very satisfied. 6. Food was fantastic.
