Loving the fresh look of the newly refurbished Lion King Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation resort. (That's a murphy bed behind the table, BTW!). We truly enjoyed our weekend getaway to Rocking Horse Ranch. The mix of indoor and outdoor activities ensures that there is fun to be had no matter the weather. Plus the helpful staff and equipment readily available make it so easy to transition from one activity to the next. And everything is so close and easy to access!

Getting everyone outfitted with ski equipment was a breeze, and the very kind and upbeat instructors had our complete beginner happily skiing on his own within half an hour.

The kids were enthralled with the indoor water park, while the new indoor/outdoor hot tub was parent heaven. Lifeguards on duty were also a huge plus.

There was plenty of selection at meals and the food and service quality were both high.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, and seem well maintained. We developed strong opinions on room location. If you book a stay with us, we'll give you recommendations on best location and make sure to request those preferences when we book your reservation.

One thing adults might feel is a bit missing is some kind of food and cocktail service connected to the water park. No one wants to leave that area in a wet bathing suit to get a drink or a snack. But we'll share one trick that makes the process a little easier.

We did not experience the trail riding since we were having too much fun with other activities. They are popular and need to be reserved in advance.

The resort is building a new outdoor pool and play area for this summer which is sure to be a hit, and there will be food and beverage service in that location. This truly is a year-round resort.

Morning is for surfing practice but afternoons are dedicated to boogie boarding at Pirate’s Island water park

We enjoyed touring a Seaside 2-Bedroom Butler Villa in the Caribbean Village yesterday. The mid century modern decor works well in this setting. And that bathtub! 😍

It’s a beautiful morning here in the Key West section of the shoreline at Beaches Turks & Caicos resort. The water is warm and inviting!

As a family, we’ve always loved to travel. And with a great-grandmother who was a travel agent, you could say it’s in the blood.

I also love giving advice. Before this business was launched, I was planning vacations for friends and family just for the fun of it, and because I loved the idea that I was helping them have the best time possible. Then one day, a travel agent friend suggested I make it official and become a travel agent, and now here we are!

The name, Have Monkeys Travel, comes from my son’s nickname and favorite animal. It represents that monkeys can be a little wild and crazy, and also fun and joyful. Traveling with our little monkeys can sometimes be a little challenging, but never boring.
