Looking to reset and rewind? Due to a last-minute cancellation our dates are open through Sept. 13. The mountains are calling! 🌄

🌝 A 3-mile roundtrip hike from our front door leads to a beautiful catch-and-release pond, a gorgeous creek with little waterfalls and a decent workout -- or, cheat and park at the community center and take the flat, gravel, out-and-back -- that's ok, too!

🚵‍♀️ Epic mtb trails are only 30-minutes from Buck Mountain! You can ride the legendary rock gardens at Rocky K**b Mountain Bike Park, test your endurance at the flowy 40-mile network Kerr Scott Lake or ride the fam-friendly Cub Creek Park trails.

🚣 Book a float or paddle the South Fork New River with RiverGirl Fishing Company in funky "Stay Odd in Todd."

🌄 The Blue Ridge Parkway is 9 miles from Buck Mountain, with abundant trails and ahhh-mazing sunsets and moonrises.

🖼️ Tour the murals and barn quilts, shop the galleries and enjoy the breweries and restaurants in West Jefferson, the two 'Boros, Boone or Blowing Rock.

🌝Another fabulous week at The Lost Pelican on Buck Mountain has come to end. Love this place so much!
