Did you know that the seat pouch in front of you on an airplane is one of the least cleaned areas on the plane? From previous passengers’ snacks to old tissues, you never know what’s been stored there before you.

To keep your belongings germ-free, I recommend bringing a large Ziploc bag with you. Simply place your items—like your phone, book, or snacks—inside the Ziploc, and then put the bag into the seat pouch. This way, your belongings won’t come into direct contact with any germs. At the end of your flight, you can easily dispose of the Ziploc, keeping everything clean and sanitary.

One experience we will enjoy on our Costa Rica adventure is diving deep into the world of cacao—the sacred bean that gives us chocolate. 🌱✨
