For the first time in over two years, HUGS ARE BACK 🥰 I've worried so much about my girls growing up while some park experiences weren't available and wondered if they'd still be young enough to appreciate some of the Magic by the the time things returned to normal. This is a huge step in getting back to what we've known and loved for so many years, and I can't wait to watch my girls twirl and dance with their princess friends, hug their favorite furry friends, and see their faces light up when they get to fully interact with their pals when we return next month!

I'm so excited to announce that, as early as April 18, Disney will return to traditional character greetings! This means hugs, handshakes, high fives, and autographs will be BACK! Just thinking about seeing these little faces light up when Minnie compliments their outfit or watching them look up in adoration at their favorite princess makes me smile so big, and I can't wait for our trip!

If you have a little one that is into all things Disney Princess... you HAVE to check out the Royal Guest Rooms at Port Orleans- Riverside. The headboards light up with fireworks, there are pictures of princesses and their princes everywhere, the decor is gold and so royal looking, and there's even a magic carpet on the floor and almost too many details to list! And, it's reasonably priced at a moderate resort! The catch?? They go QUICKLY. I'm anxiously awaiting the release of 2023 packages, so if you're interested in a "hard to get" room like this and planning to travel in 2023, reach out to me and let's be ready to find you the most magical accommodations for your trip!

There's no tired like Disney tired...
When you're traveling with little people (or 43 year olds 🤷‍♀️), make sure to allow for some down time. There's so much to see and do that we don't like to think about down time, but don't let your day go downhill quickly with tired and grumpy little people (or 43 year olds). Find some time, either inside the park or leaving midday for a break to catch your breath, cool off, snack, and just rest your legs to keep those little folks (and 43 year olds) fresh, rested, and ready to finish your magical day strong!

I think December to this May will be the longest I've gone without being at Disney World, and I'm having major withdrawals 🤣 We're going plenty of other fun places and things are now consistent enough at WDW that I don't feel like I have to keep going and testing things out for you as often. But, I walked in to get my car serviced this morning and something smelled like the monorail (if you know, you know). Now, I'm just sitting here in the waiting room, scrolling through Disney trip pics, looking for a Dole Whip in the snack center, and taking my mind to my happy place. 🤣

2 years!!! 2 years ago today I started my partnership with Simply Enchanted Travel, and what a wonderful decision that has proven to be! 🚨It really is true!!!🚨

Disney has updated their mask guidelines to include the following changes, effective February 17:
"Face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated Guests in both outdoor and indoor locations. Guests who are not fully vaccinated are expected to continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, including indoor attractions and theaters. Face coverings are still required by all Guests (ages 2 and up) on enclosed Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails, and Disney Skyliner."
This is great news for some of my upcoming travelers as we head into warmer weather!

The long awaited return of the Festival of Fantasy Parade has been announced! This guest favorite returns on March 9, and Disney has announced the addition of a few other entertainment options as well!
✨️ If you've been missing Castle stage shows, Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire will be debuting on the stage at Cinderella Castle on February 25!
✨️ Disney has also announced a new cavalcade beginning February 11 at Magic Kingdom, featuring favorite characters from Coco, Moana, Zootopia, and more!

People always ask me what my favorite ride at Disney World is (and I have several favorites), but I rarely get asked about the many awesome shows at each Disney park. These shows not only are incredible, with unbelievable talent and outstanding sets and scenery, but they're a great way to cool off and rest your legs for a bit on a tiring park day. We packed and unpacked suitcases a lot in 2021 and kept the roads hot. The vacation laundry seemed endless at times, but my goal in 2022 is to pack that suitcase even more. I love that each Disney World park has its own huge Christmas tree decorated to match the theme of each park. They're all incredible, but I do believe the sparkle and glitz of the Hollywood Studios tree makes it my favorite!
