After he retired from education, Gene Papin developed an interest in doing scroll work and set out to learn how to use the scroll saw to produce various works of art. This interest would eventually turn into more than a hobby, becoming what is today known as PapinCraft. Through word of mouth, his scro

ll saw artwork has steadily grown in demand throughout Northwest Ohio. Although he produces a wide variety of scrolled items, Gene’s specialties are his commissioned portraits and pictures. His work includes many seasonal or holiday items (e.g., Christmas ornaments, nativities), vases, puzzles, as well as other unique wooden creations. Some items (e.g., key rings, notepads) may be personalized upon request.
