If I could plan my honeymoon all over again knowing what I know now as a travel professional and more experienced traveler overall…I would…

❤️Still stay at a resort that prioritizes and values romance and not settle for one that skimps on romantic vibes. Fairmont Orchid, I’m looking at you bestie! Thanks for the memories!

🔄Switch out paying more for a fancier room type to use that “upgrade” money for a beach photo session (to have professionally captured beach pics/honeymoon memories I can hang in our home as newlyweds)

🤿Ditch the week long snorkel rentals and instead go on a snorkel shopping date with my soon to be hubby before getting hitched and honeymooning! Yes, you need to use some luggage space for a snorkel kit. BUT, you’ll have much higher quality gear that you know fits and that you can use for future travel vs paying a rental fee and dealing with pickup/return times for subpar gear.

Out of Office Times for the Holiday Season

Merry Christmas season! ❤️💚
To set boundaries and soak up sweet time with my little one and husband over the holidays, I would like to remind everyone of my upcoming “out of office” days.

📅Dates:
All day each of the days…
•Dec 22-25th
•Dec 27th
•Dec 30th-Jan 1st

What does “out of office” mean for my response time and how I work with clients (new and existing) during those dates.

🚨Emergencies: I don’t plan work those days unless in emergency cases where clients who are CURRENTLY traveling on their vacation during those dates OR who have a trip within a week of those dates encounter a flight cancellation, major health concern or otherwise “big time sensitive issue”

📨Email Responses: I will have a “vacation responder” turned on (so you’ll get an automated reply reminding you of my vacation time if you email me on those dates. Then, when I am back “in office” I’ll prioritize responding to the emails I received on my “off days” in the order that they were received.

📲Text Responses: In non-time sensitive request matters you will receive an “out of office/check back with me on x date” text.

📞How to get ahold of me in the case of a TIME SENSITIVE EMERGENCY/MATTER?

Resort to calling or texting my travel agent line BEFORE you’d resort to email. I will be signing off from my inbox as much as possible, BUT I will still get notifications from texts and calls/see those sooner.

If you’re a Disney fan and visiting here are the top 2 things to consider doing while there! ✨

Fun fact: Item number one on my list isn’t super well known by all Disney fans but is a huge hit for California locals who are Disney fans!

1️⃣Make a plan to stop for ice cream at the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Ice Cream Shop in Hollywood!

Why?

🍨This ice cream store not only has the tastiest of treats…it is ALSO connected to the and is a ’s DREAM spot to stop! There’s a special ice cream sundae that you can order that comes with a cute that you can’t just buy anywhere!

Souvenir shopping meets dessert tasting, yes please!!

2️⃣ Consider seeing a movie at the El Capitan theatre!

Why?

🍿This movie theatre is where select movie premieres have happened! And it has quite a bit of Disney history! Plus, for certain showings there’s exclusive merchandise you can purchase (such as limited edition movie popcorn buckets and more). The first movie to ever premiere here was Disney’s “The Rocketeer”!

It isn’t as well known, BUT, here are some extra special things that happen if you travel during this time!!

•Universal Studios Hollywood hosts a special after hours New Year’s party called “Eve” that’s open to all ticketed theme park guests on Dec 31 complete with fireworks, a DJ, and more!

•During the Lunar New Year, Disneyland has unique character meet and greet offerings and extra special entertainment that you won’t find year round and you can’t get in the same way at Walt Disney World

•In February, foodies will especially love the special Disney Valentine’s treats available. And major Disney fans will appreciate attending . One of the top highlights of this event is getting to ballroom dance at the Royal Ball with some of your favorite Disney characters on the dance floor.
