This was special hunt for us, not only has Matt J. become a great friend over the years but he is a Marine Veteran who served multiple tours to Iraq . We hunted hard sifting through a lot of broken bulls looking for that next level bull. When we caught this bull rebedding mid day in a canopy of pine nuts we knew this was a special bull for special guy and the hunt was on. Some hunts certainly go into my memory bank more than others but hunting with this young man right here may never be topped. We hunted hard for 7 days and had a lot of highs and lows passing on a few deer that many would have questioned for a first time junior hunter looking for something special. Walking up with my son Conner to his first hard earned harvest sparked all the emotions that one might think. Congratulations bud and thank you for this opportunity…
