Outer Banks Adventures Stand Up Paddle

This launched in 2014 in the Outer Banks! We start with a small safety briefing and tips on how to best balance on your board before we leave land, and life jackets are provided. I have guests start in a kneeling or seated position on their boards, based on their comfort, and we work our way slowly into getting comfortable on the board first and eventually standing. I launch in different locations based on wind conditions, and am mindful to keep us in protected areas out of the wind and away from boat traffic so that guests are comfortable and feel ready to venture out and explore further. We take breaks stopping on small islands for photo opportunities and to hydrate with water breaks. Along the way in our paddle, I will point out wildlife and share historical facts, even some funny ones about our creatures here in the Outer Banks. I stay close to my guests to assist at all times, unless I see they are adjusting well on their own and then give them more space to explore while taking photos of them, and always keep a watching eye out for oncoming boats, ways to keep them safe, and ways to make sure they have the most FUN experience possible. We head back in after our adventure taking a few more photos of the day and wrap it up. All photos and videos are sent to the guests the same day they book with me.

$65 per board for a guided 2 hour lesson. We book up in advance, so please be sure to schedule in advance if you know you will be visiting OBX!
