We’re fresh out of the jungle from a 10 day/11 night expedition throughout Northern Sumatra, Indonesia.
As is this year’s theme; to say that the trip exceeded expectations (though we try our best to have none) is an ineffable understatement. Great friends new and old, astounding animals, breathtaking sights, and serene moments sprinkled with adrenaline.
Best of all for us at Serpentine, is the knowledge that our financial support towards Sumatra Eco Project’s mission has fueled big moves towards the essential and rapid protection of dwindling Indonesian ecosystems. This is at the foundation of Serpentine’s existence, and conservation of natural resources is at the core of what we do.
Pictured is a 5 meter reticulated python (Python reticulatus), which we removed from town and relocated into an area where she’ll hopefully never see another human again.
