2024 Whale Watches and Deep Ocean Snorkel Charters
With so many changes after the “Spinner Dolphin ban”, I researched and found some of the best full-service charter companies to continue venturing into the deep blue.
The first charter I’m offering will be on December 31, 2023 and will continue through Humpback Whale season, toward the end of March, 2024.
There are currently 3 confirmed private charters December 31, 2023, January 28, 30 & 31, 2024. There will be more as I get enough people to pay for the private charters.
These are 4-hour charters which will give us plenty of time to visit the Humpbacks then travel out into the deep blue to snorkel with Pilots, Dolphins, Sharks & whoever graces us with their presence.
Winter is when we find many WhaleSharks!
The charter includes: snorkel gear, flotation noodles, refreshments, fresh water shower, dry stowage, & marine toilet.
About the boat: This is a Beautiful, very comfortable 40 foot Delta twin inboard with a large aft deck with bench seating, large bow with deck seating and an upper deck with bench seating, all great for spotting surface activity. There is also a below deck where the marine toilet is and great place to keep dry stowage.
This is a USCG regulated vessel with all the required safety bells & whistles.
Rate: $145 per person, + tax. Tips for the crew may be made at the end of the trips.

Humpback Whales are magical! The Humpbacks visit our Hawaiian waters from around December through April. They make a pilgrimage from their cold water feeding waters to give birth and mate in our warm waters. Viewing the Humpbacks is an experience of a lifetime.
The first Humpback sighting was last week with more entering our warm Hawaiian waters daily until January when they usually are all here.
As I've been doing for the passed 24 years, I will begin my first Humpback Whale charter for the season on December 31, 2022
This is a 3 hour charter to visit these whales followed with a snorkel at one of our spectacular coral reefs.
Public charters will be going out near daily.
Private charter will also be available for those who would like to book the entire boat for their party.

Special Humpback Whale Charters
Begins 12/31/21 through 3/20/22
Kicking off my 22nd year of these special charters to connect with the great Humpback Whales beginning December 31 and January 1st.
Great way to say Aloha to 2021 and welcome in the new year.
You are invited to bring flowers to cast off the boat & share chants, songs, acoustic music. We meet at the Honokohau Harbor at 11:15AM and return around 2:30PM
About the journey: I am now going out with Sunlight On Water for these special opportunities for close connections with our beloved Humpback Whales. We often see several different species of dolphin & toothed whales, Whale Sharks and whoever else graces us with their presence.
The boat is a 40', US Coast Guard regulated boat; very comfortable with lots of shade & areas for viewing and photos. We have a hydrophone on board to listen to the Humpbacks’ singing.
When there is an opportunity, we will get in the water so you may feel their songs with your whole Being♥

These charters are opportunities for close connections with our beloved Humpback Whales.
Our captains are masters at finding whoever is out each day. In addition to Humpbacks, we often see dolphins, Whale Sharks and we'll say Aloha to whoever else graces us with their presence.
Sunlight On Water will host these these charters. The boat is a 40', USCG regulated twin inboard boat, very comfortable with lots of shade & plenty of room for photos & viewing. We also have a hydrophone on board to listen to the Humpbacks’ singing.
We meet at Honokohau Harbor at 12:15PM and return around 3:30PM. The cost is $110 per person which includes tax, not tip.
Public & private charters are available.
We provide: snorkel gear, flotation, soft drinks & snacks.

We continue to take guests on 4-hour morning charters to connect with our cousins, the Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins.
They miss us & we can now take out 12 passengers at $125 per person. We include snorkel gear, personal flotation, beverages & snacks.
