After a long day of shopping, head for one of the many bakeries in the area, and treat yourself to
a warm Danish pastry!

Take a Side Trip to Lapland- The Swedish Lapland, near the huge and wild Sarek National Park, is crossed by the Royal Trail, which is 400-km long. In winter, the northern part of the trail is especially popular. The highest Swedish mountain environment and the presence of a large number of reindeer, elk, and grouse enhance the blank spaces. There are very comfortable lodges on the route, and there are often wide valleys without technical difficulties surrounded by glacial peaks.

You will experience a great Nordic adventure beyond the Arctic Circle!

Remember those blue and white milk jugs and kitchen tiles and the little girl and boy poised for a
kiss, these porcelain pieces are iconic symbols of the Netherlands. Potters from this side of the world have been making beautifully decorated, blue-tinged earthenware called Delftware since the 17th century. This type of ceramics is highly valued because of its historical significance and association with traditional Dutch design. The style of pottery is also sought after by most visitors to the Netherlands and can be spotted at
some specialist stores throughout Amsterdam.
These would be the perfect souvenir to bring back a piece of Amsterdam to your home!

One of the best ways to see Lisbon is by water.
Take a boat tour and see the famous hills rise above the water to form the city skyline, which is
dotted with a mosaic of red roofs and colorful buildings. See all the main sights in one trip as you cruise along the waterway. After your excursion, stroll along the boardwalks and enjoy the river views or do a little people watching. Either way, it's a perfect place to relax at any point in the day.

Update!!

In January of 2020 I embarked on a new adventure as a travel agent. Of course Covid hit right after but despite lockdowns & delayed travel, I have had the best clients for the past 4 years. It has been such an honor to partner with you to create memories with your friends and families while exploring the world. I have LOVED living vicariously through you all! The best part is that clients become friends and that's what I cherish the most!

Over the past 2 1/2 years I have worked part time with Mr & Mrs Italy, who provides luxury bespoke trips to Italy, as well as having my own personal travel business. I have accepted a full time position with them and will no longer be able to take on personal trips. Of course, any trips that were already planned will be completed and seen through as before. I'm excited about the future with Mr & Mrs Italy and thankful for the opportunity but it is definitely bittersweet. Certainly if you are ever heading to Italy, Mr & Mrs Italy would love the opportunity to plan your trip.

Amsterdam has been tagged with the reputation of a party central over the years. Although it's a small city, there are a lot of things to do and see for just about anyone. Amsterdam is a very appropriate city to travel with children. In Amsterdam, parents ride their bikes with their kids, the parks serve as a backyard for many
children and taking your kids with you to dine in a restaurant, or a food market is the most common thing to do. This makes this city a kid-friendly destination for a city trip!

You probably won’t expect to see sea lions hanging out around a tropical Mexican paradise, but they are practically part of the scenery in Los Cabos. Sea lions are attracted to bays and warm coasts with calm waters, and the Sea of Cortez has
become the home to several colonies in the Cabo region. When you visit these friendly mammals in Land's End, you'll easily notice how they're
accustomed to visiting travelers. Take a kayak out toward El Arco, and you’ll see them sunbathing on the rocks and playing in the water, seemingly putting on a show for visitors!

The Inca Trail is the most well-known trek in South America. Many rated it to be among the top 5 treks in the world. Who wouldn’t be mesmerized with the combination of breathtaking mountain scenery, lush cloud forest, subtropical jungle, and the must-see, Inca paving stones, ruins, and tunnels. The highlight of the trail is the exhilarating view of Machu Picchu, the enigmatic “Lost City of
the Incas”. It would normally take trekkers four or five days to complete the “Classic Inca Trail” but a two-day trek from Km 104 is also doable.

Skansen Outdoor Museum is a Top 3 Must-See in Stockholm

At Skansen Open-Air Museum, you will find the history of Sweden shown both in historical
buildings and intriguing craft displays. Every part of Sweden is represented at the Skansen museum, from a southern farm on Skåne to the Sami Camp in northern Sweden. Most buildings and farmsteads at the Skansen museum are from the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. Skansen is also home to 75 different species of animals, including wild animals such as wolves, lynx, elk, and brown bears, and a number of breeds of domestic animals.

● Vincent Van Gogh had an extraordinary fascination with nature, but believe it or not, he never painted a single tulip in his life.

● Back in the 17th century, a tulip mania took place in the Netherlands. Some species of these tulips were so expensive they cost more than a house, and it's impressive to have tulips in your home. It's like a parked Ferrari in your garage today.

●Every year, there are around 2 billion tulips exported from the Netherlands.

● Each year, you can come to Dam Square and pick one of 200,000 colorful tulips in a specially constructed garden. This happens every third Saturday of January to celebrate the launch of the Tulip season.

● Tulips come in pretty much all colors of the rainbow except blue. Blue tulips are made real by Photoshop.

Game for some serious trekking? Then explore the Cordillera Blanca or “The White Mountain Range” which is a part of the Peruvian Andes. It is also coined as the highest tropical mountain range on the planet.

Both located in the Cordillera Blanca, you will find Huascaran which is the highest tropical mountain, and the world’s most beautiful mountain, Alapayo. It’s possible to climb the mountain all year round but the best time of the year is between April
to September, May to October being the driest season. The trails are very dangerous during the wet season and some of the popular trekking routes are closed during this season like the Santa Cruz and Huayhuash trails.

Originally this was done to allow ships to pass through the city for trade and travel.
Today the water also provides visitors with a beautiful new way to explore the city. 1) During the Dutch Golden Age in the 17th century, most of the canals in Amsterdam
were built.

2) There are around 800,000 bicycles in Amsterdam because the Dutch love cycling.
But some can be considered a bit reckless with the bikes because every year, more than 10,000 bikes are fished out from different canals.

3) People sometimes swim in the murky Amsterdam canals, but it's not recommended
because of the unknown hazards below the surface of the water.

4) Queen Maxima joined the Amsterdam City
Swim back in 2012.

5) The historic canal belt is one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.

Did you know that many of Peru’s major cities lie in the country’s desert and that includes Lima? The National Geographic Society splits the coastline of Peru into two deserts: the Sechura Desert from the northern border to the inland city of Nazca and from there the Atacama Desert which connects it to the Northern border of Chile. Some activities in the city are exploring museums, the food, and the nightlife.
Lies at the core of the Andes and the Atacama in Southern Peru is Arequipa or what they call the
“White City” is surrounded by beautiful hot springs and the deepest desert canyon on Earth, the

Built-in 1625, Børsen is one of the oldest buildings in Copenhagen. Solidifying the status of the city as a powerhouse for trade and commerce, the stock exchange building had 40 stalls for vendors. It was
one of the most magnificent architectural structures of its time. The Old Stock Exchange was then surrounded by water from three sides so that ships could unload their cargo directly at the wharf in front. The dragon tail-like spire on top of the building is said to protect the building from fire and enemy attacks, which has proven to be true over the centuries.

Built by the Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg for his mistress, Salome Alt, the palace’s Marble Hall is now regarded as one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the world. The grandeur of the gardens is perhaps what makes this one of the most beautiful locations in all of Salzburg.

The summer population of moose in Sweden is estimated to be 300,000 to 400,000. Around
100,000 are shot in the annual hunt during autumn, and 100,000 calves are born each spring.
Moose can be found all over Sweden, except on the island of Gotland. Sweden has the densest
population of moose in the world. Although hundreds of thousands of moose inhabit Sweden, it can still be difficult to see a moose in the wild.
Some of the most densely populated areas with moose in Sweden are Bergslagen and central
Sweden.

In the 13th century, Dam Square was created when a dam was built around the river Amstel to stop the waters from the Zuiderzee sea from flooding the city. In the 1960s, the square was famous for its Dam Square hippies. Presently, it is one of the main tourist sights, and you can expect lots of entertainment. Just a five-minute walk down the Damrak from Centraal Station takes you into this crowded square. There is always a lot going on, like food stalls, restaurants, and shops galore, which include the trendy Bijenkorf, Magna Plaza, and the Amsterdam Diamond Center.

A long walk on the beach is undoubtedly lovely, but a beautiful hike in the Los Cabos desert is
equally spectacular. Desert hiking is best in the winter, with comfortable temperatures in the ’70’s.
Summer hiking is possible, but early morning is the best time to hit the trail, especially if you want to catch the sunrise.

The hike up Mt Solmar is one of the most popul
ar since it’s a relatively easy trail that overlooks
the gulf, the ocean, and the town below. Be sure to pack your sneakers with your flip-flops when you go to Los Cabos.

Situated in the Peruvian coastal plain about 250-miles south of Lima Peru is a collection of
enormous geoglyphs called the Nazca lines.

The designs are etched into the desert sands covering an area of nearly 1,000 sq. kilometers. The giant geoglyphs were created by ancient Nazca culture in South America, presenting different plants, animals and shapes. The Nazca Lines is over 2,000 years old and the best way to appreciate this UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994 is going up into the air because of its gigantic size. Researchers, for over 80 years, have studied the Nazca lines but despite the long years of
research they still find this vast ancient site to be a mystery.
