It is so much fun and has more characters than any other cavalcade, full of some rare characters you don’t usually see in the park let alone a parade!

💜💚💛The Mardi Gras celebration at Universal Studios Orlando has begun, I was there on opening night and it was amazing!
There are food booths with Cajun and international cuisine, drinks and desserts and of course beignets! I tried the seafood boil with shrimp and crawfish 🍤🦞 you get so much food in the order I couldn’t eat it all!
The parade is unbelievable and so much fun! The floats are authentic Mardi Gras floats made by the same company who makes them for New Orleans Mardi Gras! There are 2 options for the parade, Bead Catcher or Bead Thrower! Bead Catchers stand along the parade route, enjoy the parade and catch beads flying off the floats as they pass by! Bead Throwers actually get to ride on a parade float and throw the beads! How fun would that be?? There is a virtual queue to participate in this, space is limited and fills up fast.
We also saw Sugar Ray in concert after the parade! The concert series happens every Saturday night at 8:30 pm. This weekend is icon Diana Ross! 🎶
