Travel Talk Time! 🇮🇸 ICELAND! The land of fire & ice 🔥❄️
I know what some of you are thinking…. “Are you out of your mind?! It’s cold in Iceland!” Hear me out. High temps in their summer are in the 70s! (Don’t let their name fool you!) Here’s a few facts about interesting Iceland that make it a travel hotspot: wait until you see #8!

1: there are NO mosquitoes in Iceland! (YES!❤️)
2: They have no standing army.
3: Iceland has been repeatedly named the happiest and safest place in the world to travel (Even happier than the place with the giant mouse!)
4: You can swim year round in natural geothermal pools
5: the water is so pure you can drink from any tap. Away from the city, you can drink straight from streams and rivers.
6: it’s the only place in the world you can snorkel between 2 tectonic plates
7: the residents believe in trolls & fairies
8: the most popular museum in Iceland is dedicated to a male body part. (I honestly wish I was kidding)
9: approximately 10% of the country is covered in glaciers while they have 130 volcanoes (30 active).
10: There are no McDonald’s anywhere in Iceland!

Tell me a place you’ve always wanted to travel to. Don’t be shy, there’s no judgement here! Iceland? Japan? Hawaii? Maybe just the mountains in Colorado? Or maybe you have a specific landmark like the Grand Canyon or the Blarney Stone in Ireland?
For me: it’s the British Virgin Islands. And to be honest, I’ve never been on a plane. I’m scared to death to fly. 🤷‍♀️ I want to see what your dreams and wishes are, friends!
