Ready for some international travel? Well visiting Thailand just got a little easier!

Travelers wondering what it's like to visit Thailand now may be interested to know the country is "allowing almost everything" again.

Masks are no longer required, and the country's color-coded system — which placed limits that varied by province on dining activities, gatherings and travel — is also a thing of the past, according to TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand).

As of July 1, travelers need only show one Covid-related document to enter — either a Covid-19 vaccination certificate or a negative PCR or professionally administered antigen test — according to TAT. The tourism authority said both print and digital formats are acceptable.

Unvaccinated travelers who show up in Thailand without a negative test result, taken within 72 hours of traveling, will be required to pay for and take a Covid-19 test on-site, according to TAT. Travelers who test positive must also pay for their medical expenses, according to a TAT representative.

Travelers no longer need to apply for a "Thailand Pass" to enter. Introduced in May, it required travelers to submit proof of vaccination, medical insurance and other documents before departure.

Its southern beaches include bustling Playa del Inglés and Puerto Rico as well as quieter Puerto de Mogán and San Agustín. In the north, capital city Las Palmas is a major stop for cruise ships and duty-free shopping.

A statue of Neptune (Poseidon) has been postioned so that during low tide he is fully visible, but during high tides, the waves come crashing in against him to seem that he is rising from the sea.

This statue of Poseidon is located on Melenara Beach, in Gran Canaria.

Did you know, the  National Park System encompasses 423 national parks sites, including parks and monuments, in the United States? They span across more than 84 million acres, with parks in each state and extending into the territories, including parks in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and Guam. While admission to the parks can average $15-40 per park, you can instead pay a yearly fee of $80 and visit as many parks as you wish.

Here is some info on Acadia National Park in the northeastern US. Acadia is also known as ROCKY COAST AT THE WILD SEA. It was the first national park east of the Mississippi River, Acadia National Park offers hiking, biking, camping, breathtaking views of jagged coastlines, and pristine lakes.

Did you know? Carnival made an announcement this week that they are changing the process for medical exemptions to cruising without a vaccination.

Also, Viking Cruise Lines announced this week, they are no longer requiring pre-voyage coronavirus testing in destinations where it’s not mandated.
