Wondering why you should use a travel consultant? 🤷‍♀️❓

"I like to plan my own trips."
"Why should I pay for something I can do myself?"
"Can you match the deal I see at my big box store?"

These and many other questions and comments I've heard before so I thought it might be a great time to explain why you should consider using a travel consultant (ahem...me) for your next trip. 😁

Here are just a few reasons:

- "How do travel agents get paid?" Well...the good news is that it's not you paying me. We get paid by the travel supplier (Disney, Universal, Royal Caribbean, Adventures by Disney, Sandals...). That means you get my services 100% complimentary when you book a vacation package with me. Free is always good, right? If you book directly with them they get to keep their own commission but if you book with me they pay me a commission.

- "Why use a travel agent at all when I like to do my own planning? " Here are a couple of reasons: It's my job to stay on top of the latest and greatest news so that I can share it with you and make sure you are in the know for all the important things. I can help make suggestions that best fit you and your families wants and needs. I can help go through a list of pros and cons, I can follow up on any new promotions that come out to make sure you are getting the best deal for your money. I can take care of details like booking reserved dining at the 60 day mark at Disney so you don't have to be up at 5:00 a.m. doing it. Consider me the extra pair of hands you never had or better yet your personal travel consultant here to make your vacation go as smoothly as possible.

- "Why can't you price match the big box stores?" That's a loaded question for sure. After all, I like my big box stores as much as you. What I can tell you is when you decide to go with my small business, you are supporting local. You will get my attention only and are not be just a number in a queue. I can offer you a personal connection and timely response to messages and emails. I can offer a lot of advice and if anything goes wrong I'll be here to help and answer your questions. One quick addition, some of their policy and cancellation terms are much stricter.

All in all...thank you to my clients for trusting me with your vacation plans and thank you to all my friends and family who share my posts, follow my page, Instagram and TikTok. I appreciate all the support you give this small, local business.

I can't let today go by with a quick salute to...National Cinnamon Roll day!!

If you have never speed walked thru Animal Kingdom to Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery in Africa because you want to catch their breakfast time then you haven't really been to Animal Kingdom. 🤣🤣. Just kidding...but not really!

Seriously...everyone raves about Gaston's Cinnamon Roll in Magic Kingdom and I agree, it is gigantic and delicious BUT my all time favorite is the Colossal Cinnamon Roll at Kusafiri's! YUMMMM...(really that's the name)!
