Finally headed home after spending the last 10 days in Mexico. I stayed at 3 different resorts and toured 6 others! Touring resorts is great but staying at them gives me an even better understanding of the property!! There is such a huge variety of resorts in the area and unfortunately, the pictures online don’t always match what you see in person. I GO so that YOU KNOW! Stop spending hours combing through information online and give me a call! I’ll hook you up with a resort that fits YOUR travel needs!! 🏝️ ✈️ 😎

Our second stop was in Linz, Austria. We opted to take a full day excursion to the ADORABLE town of Chesky Krumlov in the Czech republic. For centuries, this amazing village has remained unscathed and is much the same as it was during the Middle Ages. It felt like being in a fairy tale city everywhere you looked!

Oh my goodness - so many amazing stops and not enough time to post!! I’m trying to catch up today!

Our first stop was in Passau, Germany (the city of three rivers) where we hiked to the top of an old fortress and then got caught in a rainstorm while exploring the town. This town is home to the world’s largest organ, but unfortunately, there was a concert while we were there and we couldn’t go inside to see it 😔

Last but certainly not least - we spent our last few nights at this stunning, boutique resort near the Pitons! I was a little nervous about the rustic nature of this resort and having that 4th wall open but it was wonderful!! Every suite has its own private pool!!!! The staff takes care of your every want and/or need. This is not a true all inclusive resort but they do offer meal plans.

This resort has a beautiful beachfront location! It is an all-inclusive with 277 spacious rooms, 8 restaurants and 7 bars. There is something for everyone here!

First resort I toured in St Lucia was this adorable, boutique property where ALL rooms have an Oceanview, decks with rocking chairs and a hammock and a romantic outdoor shower.

Some of the 33 rooms also have private plunge pools. Unfortunately, they were at 96% capacity when I visited so I wasn’t able to get photos of any of those rooms. Also, there is one main pool onsite for those who don’t have their own plunge pools.

There are a lot of stairs at this property but there is also a funicular that you can take down to the beach! (And back up)

This is a small, quiet resort, perfect for relaxing and unwinding! There are 2 spa treatment rooms that are open air facing the ocean - amazing!!

We go so we know!! This is the bedding they offer for a family of 4 at one of the resorts I toured today! This is the configuration for the “king” bed or they will separate this into 2 beds that they use to accommodate 4 people! 😱 I feel like this would be a pretty tight squeeze for most families!! If you booked online and were looking forward to a comfy king bed or 2 double beds for your family, you might be sorely disappointed! There are no sofa beds, no rollaways, etc!

Please take note!!!! There are a lot of reasons why I don’t always think flying frontier is worth the discount. However, I know many of my clients still prefer to fly with them. Please note -
Starting August 16 you better plan to be at the airport at least 3 hours early, regardless of where you’re flying to. 😞 You will no longer have the option of cutting it close!

Jet lag kicked my butt this week (or maybe it was the crazy long days of touring or a giant food coma) 😂 Either way, I’m finally excited to share more photos from my amazing week in Northern Spain!! We visited the regions of Basque Country, Cantabria, Asturias and Galicia! As we made our way along the coast, we visited many small fishing villages and medieval towns. Due to flight delays I missed the first day tour in San Sebastián but I got just a taste of it and can’t wait to go back!!! Enjoy part 1!

My Story

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love to plan vacations! Growing up, my parents showed me the importance of visiting other places and learning about other cultures. My most treasured family memories are those of traveling! (Yes, even when it was traveling across the country in a station wagon with my many siblings and then cramming into a tiny hotel room!)

As I got older, I was the person among my friends and family who people were always asking for travel advice because they knew that I spent hours pouring through reviews and researching locations to find the best deals, experiences, etc. Even when I wasn’t traveling I was always keeping my eye on travel blogs, magazines and websites. My husband would joke that I was already planning our next vacation before we had even returned from the one we were currently on. (And he was usually right!)

So, after a year of researching, I finally decided to turn my passion into a career. I can’t imagine anything better than helping others create their own treasured travel memories!!
