Bareboat charter today on a 27’ tritoon with Julie and family from Illinois. A bit windy. A tad splashy. But, days like these make the best memories and we saw dolphins on the way back!!! 🐬 Thanks for choosing capecaptains.com. 😊

First tour of 2025! 🎉 What a glorious day it was, filled with sunshine (but chilly), as Aaron and family from Nebraska joined me on a 3 hour adventure! We were blessed to spot dolphins outside of St James City and again by the Sanibel lighthouse. Thank you folks for choosing capecaptains.com! ❤️

Another great day was abbreviated by this crazy foggy weather. Took Teri and her family from Montana to Cabbage Key for ice cream in beautiful sunny weather. The gopher turtles were all over the place! We left as a blanket of fog rolled in. Luckily, the fog cleared in time to watch a pod of dolphins playfully jumping behind a yacht. We found even more dolphins in the river “miserable mile”. Thank you guys for trusting capecaptains.com! 🥰

Nice day was cut short for Mandy and family by afternoon FOG! And, the fog distracted me from my usual picture taking. 😩 Luckily, we saw lots and lots of dolphins for most of the day 🐬🐬🐬. Thanks for sharing the day with capecaptains.com. 🥰

Epic “friends and family” day yesterday. There was my wife Terri, youngest daughter Amy and her boyfriend Robert. Plus, our friends Sandra, Sven, Max and Kat from Germany. Sandra and Sven invited us to their home last year and provided us a whirlwind tour of south Germany and north Austria. All this was the result of Sandra booking two boat tours with her girlfriends two years ago. We’re now friends for life! I meet the most wonderful people from around the world. 🥰Truly blessed. 😇

Be careful out there folks! Winter tides mean lower lows and lower highs. You don't want to end up stranded like this boat near Picnic Island.

Perfect day for exploring with Scott and crew from MN. It started with finding a bunch of dolphins in the Caloosahatchee, then more by picnic island and even more by St James City!!! Stopped for a quick appetizer at Phuzzys before heading to Sanibel lighthouse. The gulf was super calm so we headed to Fort Myers Beach, both gulf and bay sides. We headed back after a fantastic late lunch at Doc Fords. Thanks Scott for choosing to spend the day with capecaptains.com. 🥰

Great being out with Kevin, his family and friends yesterday. This is their second trip with capecaptains.com! We visited Cabbage Key, saw the wreck on Cayo Costa, witnessed the new cut on North Captiva and saw lots of dolphins pretty much everywhere!!! 🐬🐬🐬 Thanks again for sharing another day on the water with me! 🥰

Scheduling changes enabled a memorable day with this wonderful family from MN. Weather was ideal. We found tons of conchs on Cayo Costa. Lots of playful dolphins 🐬. And a fantastic lunch in an idyllic setting. We made it back as the sun was setting. Thanks Brad for booking with capecaptains.com. 🥰

Navigation training yesterday with repeat customers Stephanie and John from IA. They recently purchased a second home in SE Cape and wanted to safety explore by water. We visited Tarpon Lodge, Jug Creek, Cabbage Key, and Captiva before grabbing a late lunch at The Lighthouse Restaurant. Lots of dolphins 🐬. Perfect weather. Good people. Spent another day with Cindy and her wonderful friends from MN. Weather was challenging but her Formula 310 SS handled the chop well. Saw dolphins on the bayside of FMB before enjoying lunch. Thank you gals for welcoming me out for the second time this week. 😍

Manatees at Mango’s, shelling on North Captiva, sightseeing at Cayo Costa, dolphins jumping our wake, and a late lunch at Phuzzys.
