This morning I played the Old Course at St. Andrews…or more correctly, I played the 17th and 18th. What a way to start your morning!
Have you ever sunk a putt 100 ft. above the 18th green at St. Andrews? Neither had I until last week. The Rusacks Hotel has a putting green beside their fabulous "18" restaurant. We have 40+ guests who will sink their putts here this year.
When will you sink your putt?!
We'll take you there.

In Scotland, dogs are always welcome on the golf course. Case in point: this twosome and their dog at the Old Course teed off at 7:45am in weather that is positively what the Scots call "dreich" - gloomy and damp. The dog's enthusiasm and that of the golfers, was not hampered by the weather. I'm willing to bet that after watching this video, you'll agree that these golfers won't lose a single ball today!
With a caddy at the Old Course, you won't lose one either!

St. Andrews Old Course in the morning
Before all the people arrive, the first tee at the Old Course is very quiet, some would even say peaceful. In my mind, it’s just beautiful. My dad and I played here twice together, and every time I’m here, I’m reminded of him and our first walk around the Old.
How about a little of the pipes to remind you of Scotland? Recorded live at the Links at Spanish Bay.
