🚍🚤🚠 Park hopping is great and gives you a lot of freedom, but there’s something magical about experiencing a Disney park from open to close. Pandora – The World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom makes a strong case for staying put and soaking up the entire day in one place. It’s two completely different vibes, and if you head home without at least strolling through the bioluminescent pathways after dark, you’ll definitely be missing out. Trust me.

🤔🌙The tricky part about seeing Pandora at night is it’s hard to do during the summer months when the park typically closes before it gets dark. But there are ways. Plan a trip when the days are shorter!

🎨 I can’t believe EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts isn’t more popular and doesn’t get more love, it is INCREDIBLE! For starters, can we talk about how nice this BURST of color is right in the middle of the dark, dreary days of Winter? Aside from that, who doesn’t love

🍪 🍫 Have you seen or tried the Disneyland cookies that went viral on TikTok? The Harbour Galley at Disneyland Park serves warm, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies (and lobster rolls, tuna salad and chowders) that come in two serving sizes: a half dozen (around $7) and a bakers dozen (around $13 and the best deal). 🛍️ Packaged inside a paper bag, it’s really easy to grab, go and snack your way through the park or grab a waterside seat and savor the moment.

When it comes to indulging at Disneyland, spending those calories and hard earned snack money, are you likely to go for an old reliable like a chocolate chip cookie or something more unique? 🏰 💵 🍪✨

🏰🏴‍☠️Walt Disney World is getting a new nighttime parade and Pirates of the Caribbean themed tavern at Magic Kingdom!

🎠🎉 Disneyland is celebrating its 70th Anniversary and Walt Disney is getting his own animatronic show!

⚓✨ Disney Cruise Line has another two ships setting sail: The Disney Adventure and Disney Destiny. That makes 8 ships!

🌍🎉 Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe opens in May and promises to be unforgettable for all ages!

😱✈️ Have you SEEN airline baggage fees lately?! With more airlines charging for checking luggage (and increasing the prices of doing so), there’s more reason than ever to consider going to just carry on when flying. But HOW do you go from packing the whole house to one carry on and one personal item? Here are some pro-tips:

🖤🤍 Pack neutral colored layering items and swap them around in different combinations. A couple leggings, a cardigan, some lightweight shirts that can be layered, and voilà…you’ve got several combos that will get you through a few days.

🧼🧴 Stock up on those mini toiletries or use what is available at your hotels. You won’t likely need an entire bottle of anything.

🧥❓ Do you really need a sweatshirt, fleece, AND jacket? Choose the most versatile one and pack it.

🎒 Find a good travel backpack and stuff that bad boy! The compartments are great for keeping everything organized like cords, snacks, and other items that can easily get lost in a backpack.

🧳 Lots of people swear by packing cubes. Splurge on the compression cubes, roll your items, and see how much more you can get in those mini suitcases.

💡 What other tips do you have for packing light? Or are you in the “pfff, charge those extra bags to my card, I need ALL of my stuff” camp? I like the motto of "pack less and take more money." 😀💵

👋So long, 2024! It’s that time of year again, friends. I’m sure we are all guilty of setting resolutions year after year, but fall off track after a few days or weeks. Normally we talk mainly about travel around here, but what if we work together this year to make some resolutions that we stick with?! How about THREE:

🏋️‍♀️🧘‍♂️ Something for your body: A new workout program, walking, running, barre, yoga, a new nutrition plan

📚🧠 Something for your brain: Reading __ number of books a year/month, Sudoku puzzles, crossword puzzles, traditional puzzles, learn a new language

🎢🎶 Something for fun: Maybe this is more like a bucket list item for the year. Visit a certain place, get a season pass to a local attraction, improve an aspect of a relationship, regular date night, regular kid dates

💦It probably feels weird talking about water parks when most of us are wearing so many layers we can’t put our arms fully down at our sides, but it’s actually THE PERFECT TIME to have this chat.

🏰First, beginning TOMORROW at Walt Disney World, if you’re staying at an on-property resort, FREE admission at one of their water parks on your check-in day is included! They typically only have one water park open during the winter, but are both incredibly fun.

🩱Secondly, no matter if you’re at Disney’s Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon or over at Universal’s Volcano Bay (which just won a Travvy Award for Best Water Park🏆), the water is heated, the crowds are typically smaller which also means the lines can be shorter. Win-win-win!

🎟️ A free perk is definitely hard to pass up-even when the temps are down. Will you be taking advantage of Disney’s Free Water Park Admission on check-in day this year? Or if you have your eye on Universal, will you see what all the hype is about at Volcano Bay?

If you’re swinging through Universal Orlando, keep an eye out—Stan Lee makes some sneaky, epic cameos in The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man ride. From driving a truck to making a heroic rescue, he’s in there four times for you to find!

🏖️Talk about a vacation within your vacation, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is your own slice of Tahitian paradise just minutes away from the most magical place on earth.

🌺🌴 The Poly isn’t for guests who just want to “rest their heads” at a Disney Resort. This resort is meant to be EXPERIENCED. Whether it’s taking a dip in the volcano pool, having a cocktail at Trader Sam’s, strolling the gift shops or hugging on Stitch at an ‘Ohana breakfast, you are going to need at least one resort day.

🍪🎁✉️ Baking, wrapping, holiday cards—oh my!😅 If you're staring down the three big holiday stressors and wondering how you'll get it all done, don’t worry—this elf has some time-saving tricks up the old sleeve!

❌ Skip the baking and head to a local bakery or grocery store for a sleeve of Toll House. So what if your "homemade" cookies come from the pros.

🛍️Swap wrapping for gift bags! They look festive, are EASY, and come in every size imaginable. Add a little ribbon, and voilà!

💻Opt for sending an e-card this year. They're personal, fast, inexpensive and you can schedule them to hit inboxes while you're sipping on some cocoa. Self care is important!
