📍Fairbanks, Alaska This was a Bucket List trip for us to see the Auroras. Mother Nature had other ideas for us our first few days with rain & clouds, so we went to Plan B! We spent a day at Chena Hot Springs soaking in the thermal water & enjoying the magnificent views. We then headed to Denali National Park. This park is breathtaking with views!! It is a must see if you are here. Then you have to stop at Skinny Dicks pub for a beer & enjoy the “ambience” 🤣 North Pole, Alaska is Christmas all year round! They had the best hot chocolate & Christmas ornaments galore! We also saw a portion of the Alaskan pipeline that is above ground. On our 4th day here, the skies began to clear! We found an amazing tour company - Arctic Tours- who was bound & determined to find us the Aurora. After waiting 6 hours, the lights lit up & put on a beautiful light show for us! Unforgettable!! I can’t forget to mention Betty! Our Buick rental that took us all over Fairbanks 🚗 #fairbanks. #alaska #auroraborealis. #denalinationalpark #bucketlist #chenahotsprings #arctictours #travelalaska #travel
