This past weekend I got to experience, first-hand, two great properties with my Girl Scout troop. First, we stayed at the @whollywood which was beautiful and oozed Hollywood glam. It’s situated right across the street from the Pantages theatre. Great for those seeing a show! Unfortunately, for this group of 16 year old girls, the rooftop pool was closed for construction but I can only imagine it’s spectacular and something worth returning for. Next, we headed to the @hyatthuntingtonbeach. It’s an amazing property with multiple restaurants, pools, spa, and family activities (including evening s’mores…what’s more perfect for a group of Girl Scouts!). We concluded our weekend by “bridging” to the next level of scouting on the property’s bridge over PCH to the sand for a beach day!

I recently stayed at The Floridays Resort in Orlando for a retreat. What a great option for families visiting the area! This Disney World Good Neighbor hotel offers free shuttles to the parks and spacious two and three bedroom suites with full kitchens. Plus there are some great pools as well for those necessary relaxation days!
