Pretty awesome day yesterday… went to Kirkwood for downhill skiing, but alas, it was WAY too crowded. Rented some X-Country ski’s and did that for 10km!! Great Day!!

Winter has arrived here in Carson Valley!! Snow on Heavenly’s slopes, Freel Peak, and Jobs Peak!! 25 degrees this morning, and 16 forecasted for tomorrow morning. Gonna be an awesome ski season… again!!

Great day in the Sierra yesterday! Twin Lake was pretty beautiful. We were the only ones there… short hike in from Lower Blue Lake (where everybody was!) was all it took to get there.

Took some time off recently and went to Kauai, birthplace of our Dad. Also managed to visit all 6 of our kids while on the road!! And to cap it off, one of my brothers, and his wife, came along for some Aloha! We capped the trip off with a celebration of life for my dear Uncle Jim… hero in my life and one of the the world’s great people. May he RIP.

Been almost two months since the move from Sonoma, and everyone is settling in nicely. We love the sunset views from our front porch, and the extensive hiking trails. Clearly our dog has also found Nevada to be to her liking!!

We only have 5 days left living in Sonoma😩😢. We’re off to Nevada on new adventures in life!! I have live in the City of, or county of, Sonoma for the past 27 years. We’ll miss this place A LOT, but are also looking forward to the next phase of life!
