I've had the pleasure of horseback riding in Los Angeles, Montana and upstate New York.

Did you know you can go riding in Moorea? Saddle up at Ranch Opunohu Valley and take 1 or 2 hour ride past the pineapple plantations with lush mountain views. They even pick you up at the hotel!

Moorea...for the laid back, yet adventurous soul.

Everyone has that favorite place you love to go...it's intimate and displays the personality of the owner that you connect with...specialty coffee made just for you, that heart-shaped ring you don't see anywhere else or the mom and pop cleaners you've been going to for 20 years.

Some have sadly said goodbye in the last year, some that honestly made me teary eye when I found out. However, SO many new local businesses have sprouted up and worthy for a glance or two.
